Quina és la diferència entre la Garantia per a l'amfitrió i l'Assegurança de protecció per a l'amfitrió?
Airbnb’s Host Guarantee and Host Protection Insurance are two separate programs that apply to hosts of places to stay from check-in to checkout. Airbnb’s Host Guarantee and Host Protection Insurance don’t apply to hosts who offer accommodations through Airbnb Travel, LLC, hosts in mainland China, hosts in Japan, or hosts of experiences. Airbnb’s Host Guarantee is not related to Host Protection Insurance or Airbnb UK Services Limited.
Airbnb’s Host Guarantee
Airbnb’s Host Guarantee is a property damage protection program. It provides up to $1,000,000 USD in property damage protection in the rare event a host’s place or belongings are damaged by a guest or their invitee during an Airbnb stay. Airbnb’s Host Guarantee is not insurance.
Example: During a stay, a guest spills a glass of red wine on the carpet, ruining it. The host requests reimbursement but the guest declines to pay the full amount. In this situation, the host may be eligible for reimbursement for damage to their carpet under Airbnb’s Host Guarantee.
Airbnb's Host Guarantee is subject to terms, conditions, and exclusions. Go to the Host Guarantee Terms and Conditions to find out more.
Host Protection Insurance
Host Protection Insurance is a liability insurance program. It may provide up to $1,000,000 USD in liability coverage for a host’s legal responsibility to a guest or third party that gets hurt or has their property damaged due to an incident related to an Airbnb stay. It generally acts as primary insurance coverage.
Example: A guest slips and injures their ankle during their stay at the host’s place. The guest claims the host is liable and sues the host. Host Protection Insurance may cover the host’s legal fees and the guest’s damages.
