Cancelled my reservation through Airbnb messenger app while I was already driving there. I wrote them back asking for clarity, a phone call, and a refund. They read each and everyone of my messages and didn’t respond. I was 8.5 hours away from home for a school orientation and had to scramble to find a hotel. Luckily I got ahold of Airbnb directly and got a refund and Frontdesk is soooo lucky for that. You suck

Front Desk Airbnb is good at communication, but not good at customer service. As detailed in the dilemmas listed below, Front Desk Airbnb’s main customer is the apartment renter, not the Airbnb patron.

Dilemma 1: We were asked to leave four days early due to an “emergency”. Airbnb notes, once a stay begins a specific reason such as noise or damage is required.

Dilemma 2: Front Desk is the name of the Airbnb contractor and not the apartment complex in this case RM West. We requested a FOB to access the advertised workout room, Front Desk Airbnb was unable to deliver. After discrete conversations with maintenance and management it became clear that Airbnb’s are not welcome.

Dilemma 3: Who is responsible if there is any issue? Renter, RM West, Airbnb, us?

We agreed to leave early with a minor refund. Although contact with Airbnb headquarters indicated they would support us, it was not worth the frustration to stay.

Péssima experiência, ficamos aguardando os códigos de acesso a partir do horário do checkin e não recebemos nada e não conseguimos falar com o anfitrião, tivemos que buscar outro lugar para dormir às 1 PM após dirigir 9 horas em um país e uma cidade que não conhecíamos fica aqui minha insatisfação
