a visit to Keurboom Park comes highly recommended. This pretty green park is set against backdrops of the iconic Table Mountain, right in the heart of this vibey Cape Town suburb. It is the perfect place for a bit of quiet time and reflection, away from the bustling city centre. There are paths for running, walking and cycling (cyclists are reminded to yield to pedestrians), as well as big green areas for dogs to run around under the watchful eyes of their owners. Keurboom Park is fantastic for families with children because there are two play parks, as well as plenty of room to run.

A massive and pet friendly park that includes a gated play area for younger children and other play areas along the walk path. Numerous owls have been spotted here so keep an eye out in case you’re lucky! A great spot for peaceful yoga or some safe jogging off of the streets. Come here to have a picnic or play some games, huge grassy fields to play ball!
