My other favorites for dinner are two restaurants owned by the same eclectic and exciting local chef, Danny Surfer. "Blue Collar” for American comfort food and a very unexpected locale in the "Mimo district" (15 minutes) or “Mignonette” (Edgewater - 17 minutes) for fantastic fish and oysters.

It is a walking distance from the property (2 blocks) I have not eaten here but it has great reviews and it has been in the neighborhood for a while!

Homey well prepared dishes at reasonable prices. Small, do not take reservations, if the weather allows, best to sit outside. Parking can be an issue so you might want to consider walking 8 blocks.
