This park is very nice and relaxing. Beautiful place to take a walk and wonder in the woods. The fields are well placed and lengthy. Several parking lots and there's a neat playground for the kids. There's also a dog park and several basketball courts. The area is safe and right off of the Grand Central Highway. It's right next to Union Turnpike where there are many local food spots to check up. Good spot to go and play in the snow in the winter as well.

This park and the connecting Alley Pond park are amazing, they make up the second largest park in Queens next to Flushing Meadows Corona Park. They also have mountain biking with the North Woods Mountain Biking Trail that has many easy sections for me. Not to mention this is the location of the Big Apple Circus when it comes to New York City, besides Manhattan.
