this is not a venue to rush to... but it is the last strong hold of ungentrified Brighton. if you want to buy food or eat something good, have a wonder along the london road. Charity shops galore and then the market

They have a great selection of places to eat and drink coffee as well as some good stalls for cheese, meat, fish and vegetables. There are also stalls selling clothes and art and jewellery etc.

Located just off of Brighton's shabby London Road, the Open Market has had a huge makeover in recent years as part of the area's regeneration project. Now vendors sell more craft ware than vegetables.
