Very pleasant sea bathing, with lifeguards on duty in the summer. It is a shingle beach rather than sand, so will be more comfortable with shoes.

Bexhill has got a really nice seafront with lots of flowers and plenty of parking. Plenty of shops and cafes but less busy than Eastbourne or Brighton. Also has the Del A Warr pavilion which has lots of world class entertainment. During the pandemic Eddie Izzard was doing gigs on the roof to support the venue because he comes from Bexhill.
