This old ship dock area has turned into a vibrant part of the city with street art, expositions, restaurants and bars. A must see in Amsterdam!

this area feels very divorced from the historical city of Amsterdam. Full of modern buildings, old warehouses and grafitti, NDSM feels younger, more vibrant. This area is rapidly changing. There are restaurants, exhibitions, festivals. Check out their website for the program.

Old shipping yard, now a cultural centre on the other side of the city, so not many tourists go there. to get there, walk through central station to the ferry's. The one most to the left takes you in abut 15 minutes to NDSM. Als a nice free boat tour
