Located on the valley of the Sambata River, at the foot of the Fagaras Mountains, it is renowned as a place of silence, caressing and spiritual strengthening for believers and visitors praying or embracing in this holy place. The Roman people, who "were born Christian," have this monastery, as well as the other many Orthodox monasteries in Romania, the most durable bridge between all the Romans on the Carpathian side.

A very old monastery by the mountains. It is one of the important monasteries in Romania with a lot of history.

Una dintre cele mai frumuase mănăstirii. Merită sa fie vizitată. Cu mașina ajungeți in 20 de minute.
