This atmospheric and amiable alehouse and microbrewery does a range of house brews from pilsners to Weissbiers, and also serves up some intriguing ales from guest breweries. Stomach liners – burgers, bangers and mash, and fish and chips – can be ordered at the bar. Street-side benches are at a premium but worth trying to snare.
