One of my favorite beaches in the area it’s worth the drive! National trust members can park free in the car park back from the centre if the beach. Locals tip Grab a coffee and a slice of homemade cake at the Beach house cafe, or lunch if you fancy it, it’s an impressive little cafe with a stunning view. Booking in advance is a good idea as it gets busy here. Dogs It’s one of the prettiest dog friendly beaches around, bring your four legged friend and explore the coast path followed by a refreshing swim! South Milton Sands, TQ7 3JY

lovely chips and prawns, in a little sandy cabin by the sea. Perfect in the rain but get there early!
