This is the place to go for delectable tempura. Attached to the Yoshikawa ryokan, it offers table seating, but it’s much more interesting to sit and eat around the small counter and observe the chefs at work. It’s near Oike-dōri in a fine traditional Japanese-style building. Reservation required for tatami room; counter and table seating unavailable on Sunday.
