A small beach with a water side restaurant/bar. Usually quiet even in tourist season. Walk into town and discover the traditional east Algarve.
The history of Fuseta goes back to 1572, when it was still called Fozeta. From this Foz was derived from river mouth, namely the Rio Tronoco. The village is located on an island in the estuary. Initially, the area was just a collection of small fishing huts. The population increased and it quickly became a small village. The center of Fuseta has about 2000 inhabitants and belongs to the Concelho Olhão. Fuseta as a village was spared tourism for a long time, but in recent years the tourist facilities have expanded. From the fishing port you can take the ship to the beach of Praia da Fuzeta. With taxi boats it is also possible to visit other islands 💛
