These lavender fields are worth the hour+ drive northeast into Canada. Peak bloom is usually late July, early August. Use Derby Line/Stanstead Border Crossing. Stop for lunch on the lake at East Side Restaurant in Newport, VT.

A must in the region. As soon as you arrive in the parking lot, you can appreciate the sweet scent of lavender. You can visit and take pictures in the fields
