If you need a big field to run in, this has exercise stations at every corner. Or if you want to watch people play tennis or soccer, easy to peek at games here. This is also a close entrance to the walking trails down on Rock Creek.

This is the closest entrance to massive Rock Creek Park. Cross the soccer fields and continue down Morton Place into the park. At the bottom of the hill you arrive at Beach drive, which is closed to traffic and open to walkers, bikers, and runners. Trails splinter off into the surrounding woods.
