This drive will take you up into the mountains with stunning scenery. Remember, there will likely be snow in the winter, which means that you may need chains. If you have not been to Lake Tahoe, we highly recommend you visit sometime. Tahoe is known for its beautiful forest beaches and ski resorts. The lake itself is gorgeous shades of green and blue.

Action Packed - busy part of Tahoe ... expect a 30 minute drive there on a good day. Lots of cool casinos and summer concerts. Heavenly in the winter
