Wonderful day trip although tends to be quite crowded in the high summer months. Plan to arrive early in order to find parking. Many restaurants, art galleries and shops. Great market town

Probably the most visited town in the Dordogne. It holds a market on every Saturday and Wednesday. The historic town centre has remained the same for centuries.

Sarlat le canada is 2 hours from us and hosts a magnificent market which is well worth a day trip.

Great Saturday and Wednesday market. Take a walking tour thru the streets of this largest fully restored Renaissance town in France. Great shops and tasting rooms. Sarlat is a gastronomic centre, the region being well known particularly for foie gras and truffles.
