台中文化創意產業園區，其前身為公賣局第五酒廠的台中舊酒廠，因都市發展及環保考量遷往台中工業區。園區座落於台中市後火車站附近，佔地5.6公頃，目前國內現存五大酒廠中保存最完整的一個。 台中舊酒廠，並非單獨存在於城市之中。這個重要產業遺址，累積由日據時期遺址而至當代建築的脈絡，它的再利用規畫與整體城市發展息息相關，包括1930 年代古綠川消失、1998 年遷廠的喬木大移植及神社公園夷平…等，重大開放
