Lakeside is an historic amusement park that will make a little bit of $$ go a long way. It’s truly an old-school theme park with rides suitable for all ages (even toddlers). A great alternative to Six Flags for those looking to spend less money, wait in shorter lines, and are up for a little character and charm (and a little nail biting on the older wooden coasters!). Take the little train ride around the lake after dark to get a great view of the park all lit up!

Lakeside Amusement Park is a large facility with excitement, history and charm. Located in Denver, Colorado at I-70 and Sheridan, on a picturewsque lake (with great mountain views). A merry-go-round, a drop tower, bumper boats, roller coasters, sports cars and many spinning rides make Lakeside the perfect site for famly fun and large events. Kiddies' Playland is filled with rides specifically for young children. Lakeside is an ideal site to host group outings including company picnics, birthdays, family reunions, church picnics, little league awards ceremonies, summer camp outings, school field trips and more. Operating at the same location since 1908, many Coloradans have a lifetime of memories of summer evenings of picnics, laughs, fun foods and games that can be relived by coming to visit Lakeside Amusement Park.

You have to be adventurous to ride the rides at Lakeside, Denver's only existing historic amusement park, complete with wooden roller coasters and a mirror funhouse. Dress up in your fave vintage duds for epic photo opportunities. A uniquely Denver attraction.

This is a real old-school amusement park. The train still chugs around the lake, the carousel still creaks, and the rollercoaster still shakes in this amusement park that must be near 100 years old! It is almost the opposite of Elitch Gardens which has the newer Six Flags-style rides and the corporate gloss.
