I am part of the nut-and-berry crowd, but it doesn't mean that I don't like going out to the lake on a summer's day. There are motorboats and kayaks for daily rental at this low-brow marina where you can get ice cream sandwiches that might have expired in 1998. But, all that being said, the lake itself can be so gorgeous through every season of the year.
