This family owned authentic Sardinian restaurant does everything with so much care. The consistency of the pasta is unlike anywhere I've been in the city (in a good way). You won't forget the Squid Ink Pasta, the Sardine appetizer, or the custom Gelato flavors. You need reservations well in advance. It's kinda formal, but formal in SF is casual in New York.
