This beach on Cancun’s coast is called “forum beach” by locals. It offers tons of options for learning water sports, a wide selection of restaurants and bars, and places to have fun until the wee hours of the morning. Playa Gaviota Azul, or Blue Seagull Beach, tends to lure young people who are looking for a good time on Cancun’s coast.

I call this the downtown of hotel zone. The entrance is between Coco Bongo and Mandala, which are nightclubs and they turn beach clubs on day time, the cover for the beach clubs are around 50 USD. The beach is public, and a 7 eleven is at the entrance. Music from the beach clubs starts at 13:00 hrs.

It is one of the favorite beaches of travelers who visit Cancun, located near the Plaza Forum, restaurants and has beach clubs so you can enjoy your day at the beach. The waves are moderate to strong where children and adults have fun in the waves, remember to swim carefully and do not take risks.
