Woodward Park (open daily 5a-11p) Tulsa Garden Center (open Mon-Fri 7:30a-2:30p, Sat-Sun 8:30a-3:30p) Linnaeus Teaching Gardens (open Tue-Sat 9a-4p) Located just three-miles from downtown Tulsa, Woodward Park was established 1920s and the formal Rose Gardens were built in the 1930s using public monies from the Civil Works Administration to help pull the USA out of the depression. The Tulsa Garden Center was established in 1954 with the purchase of the Snedden Mansion to be their headquarters, nestled next to Woodward Park and the Rose Gardens. Just behind the Garden Center, you will find the Linnaeus Teaching Gardens. 2435 South Peoria

Located in historic Woodward Park, the Tulsa Garden Center is dedicated to bringing horticultural and environmental education to the community, to maintaining a horticulture library for the public, and to supporting, preserving and enhancing the beautiful historic mansion in which it is housed. Free guided tours are available. Other features within the park include the internationally known 4.5 acre Municipal Rose Garden, along with several other specialty gardens, a Victorian-style conservatory, a three acre arboretum, statuary, fountains and pools.
