A trip to Stonehaven is a must, the day can be filled with an adventure at Dunnotter Castle, a walk on the boardwalk in the town, a sit down on the harbour, a bag of chips at the award winning chip shop The Bay and an ice cream at the famous Aunty Bettys - lush, lush, lush. Watch out for the seagulls though.

Fabulous ice-cream and lovely coffee. Old-fashioned type sweet shop too. You can tell it's good - queues are often way out the door and down the street!
