薬の神様。中国の神農と日本の少彦名の神をお祀りする。11/22-23はこの前の道修町通(どしょうまちどおり)沿いは縁日の屋台が並ぶ。 また道修町には現在も、武田薬品工業※や田辺三菱製薬※、塩野義製薬、大日本住友製薬※、小林製薬など、日本を代表する製薬会社の本社が集中する。少彦名神社や上記※の会社は建物内にミュージアムを持っており、ミュージアムストリートでもある。
