Check out this gem. There is camping, cabins, a general store, trail rides, and pack trips. You can leave out of the meadow for a hike to Relief Reservoir or Kennedy Lake.

This place has great food. Recommend eating outside to enjoy the scenery with your food.

A day trip up to Kennedy Meadows is a joy! There is a restaurant and bar on the grounds, as well as fishing and spots to relax by the river all along the way. We like to pull off the side of the road shortly before getting there. (there are places to pull off). Fish, relax, read by the beautiful river....followed by lunch or dinner at the Resort.

The Kennedy Meadows Resort is very iconic and feels very western. Thats because it is primarily a pack station and vacation rental spot up high on the Sonora pass. Horses can be chartered for trail rides or even full on camping in the high country. There is great fishing in the river and a restaurant and store. the short hike into the iconic Kennedy Meadow with all of its aspen trees is amazing especially in the Fall when the trees change color.

Another place to ride horses. They have a great restaurant that's worth the drive.
