Because it will show some Maori and pacific Isalnd Culture History of the early settlers in NZ
Auckland's prime museum with fantastic exhibits both on culture - our Maori history etc - and natural history.
The museum is a great place for Maori and local history, as well as a good place for understanding the European settlement of New Zealand.
There's some free two-hour parking for the museum around Auckland Domain but it;s first-in-first-served. There's also paid parking on the streets nearby. While you're at the Domain for the Museum, make sure you check out the Winter Gardens!
A fine neoclassical building & memorial containing a permanent collection & temporary exhibits.
