A delightful self-contained studio apartment in a period residence. This newly refurbished apartment has been completely remodelled but manages to retain all of its period features and charm. High ceilings and generous Victorian windows combined with concessions for modern living which make any length of stay a pleasure. As an added feature this apartment has a separate bedroom with a comfortable single bed, ideal for couples or persons travelling with a child or for friends who just enjoy their own space. As with our other apartments great care has gone into choosing the interior fittings and we have made a special effort to ensure that everything you will need for you stay, from bedding to pots and pans to hairdryers and ironing board….are provided for your use. This residence features a communal laundry room, with washing machines and tumble dryers, which although not free are heavily subsidized and you can wash a load from just £2. As you can see in the photos there is a comfortable sofa and the additional convenience of a table and chairs for dining. The flat screen TV is 49'' HD 4K and the picture quality is excellent, it's mounted on a special bracket so as you can see it from where ever you are in the room. Free WiFi is included and the code is made available in the guests welcome book which you can find in the apartment, together with a host of other information which we consider you may find useful. As a general rule I prefer stays of four days or longer but shorter periods are maybe available so please ask if in doubt.   • És un estudi de 2n pis molt maco a Croydon. El llit era molt còmode i la dutxa tenia molta aigua calenta i pressió, que és exactament el que necessites després de recórrer Londres a la fred.   • Aquest lloc és un dels millors AirBNBs on ens hem quedat. La unitat estava impecable, molt ben decorada i tenia tot el que necessitàvem.   • Bonic apartament ideal per descobrir Londres. Teniu només 15 minuts fins a l'estació de tren. Un supermercat és a només 5 minuts.     We have 3 large guest bedrooms available in our beautiful edwardian home. These 3 double bedrooms can sleep 7. The house is very well situated and incredibly cosy.
    Our house has an unique design, situated in the leafy suburb of Carshalton Beeches, within eight minutes walk of Carshalton Beeches train station, local restaurants and shops. The property has off street parking and a large garden to relax in. Many parks are within a short walk making the property ideal for families.
    Carshalton is a peaceful and pretty suburb located within easy travelling distance of London and the beautiful Surrey countryside. There are some nice restaurants, local cafes and parks for children nearby.

    We have a double bedroom in our warm and spacious home available for those looking to commute locally and to London, or for those flying in and out of Gatwick. We're 5mins from Caterham Train Station and a 20 minute drive or train journey from Gatwick (we can offer a lift for £15). Central London is a 40min train journey away. We're in a peaceful and safe neighbourhood and we have a communal pool which opens in the summer time!
    The bed is a comfortable double futon bed with a king sized duvet. There is a sit/stand desk and chair in the room as well as space for luggage. It is a south-facing room so it receives a lot of sunshine during the day but it does have blackout curtains. There is a swimming pool in the gardens that opens in the summertime. The kitchen has everything you need as well as a dishwasher, soup and smoothie maker and a bread maker.
    Tupwood Lane is a peaceful and pretty neighbourhood, it is a short walk from Caterham Valley. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants on the High St (Croydon Road). We particularly recommend the Waffle shop for delicious sweet or savoury waffles! As well as Cafe Bambino, the Kerala indian restaurant, and the Casa Tola tapas restaurant. There is a small local museum, plenty of shops, a Waitrose and a Morrison's, all within a 10 minute walk. Our favourite is Pedrick's Zero Waste shop for fresh fruit & veg, bread, local handmade products, and plenty of foodstuffs. We are also surrounded by great walks and parks. It's nice to watch the wild parakeets from the windows!

    The house is in a quiet tree-lined residential road. Ideal weekend place as well as convenient for business commuters . Convenient for travel to London as within the London Zone 6 but also close to many National Trust locations and lovely countryside.
    My home is comfortable and semi-detached with large light rooms, which have superb views over Caterham Valley. Please note there are several steps to reach the front door, but they are safe and there is a handrail. The guest room is at the back of the house overlooking Kenley Woods, so it is very quiet and rural. A breakfast of cereals, juice, yoghurts and fruit is provided, if required. There are also free drinks in the bedroom. There are many walks in this area which is of Special Scientific interest. Paths nearby lead up to Kenley Aerodrome, which is a famous Battle of Britain airfield. This area has many footpaths including London Loop, so it is a wonderful place for walkers to enjoy the countryside. There are many leaflets and books with information on local walks in the bedroom. The new Battle of Britain museum at Biggin Hill is now open. During the summer the famous Mayfield lavender fields in Banstead are a popular place to visit, which is a short drive from the house. In August (weather dependant) there is also a flypast over Kenley Aerodrome by the Battle of Britain memorial flight. This is composed of a Spitfire, Hurricane and one of two flying Lancasters in the world. This is to commemorate a heavy airraid on this airfield at the beginning of the Battle of Britain. The Biggin Hill Festival of Flight takes place in the vicinity on the same weekend. The Vintage Car Rally comes through Purley in November, which makes this location very convenient to watch this iconic event. The world class Fairfield Halls have just reopend after a long period of renovation. My house would make a comfortable stay if you wish to attend one of the performances. If running is one of your hobbies, a Parkrun (5k) is held on Saturday mornings on the other side of the valley. Excellent transport links to all locations including Gatwick airport, Brighton and the coast so suitable for commuters, couples and solo travellers for work or pleasure. The nearest railway station is Kenley. The walk from there is mostly flat with only one slight incline on the way. Purley and Upper Warlingham stations are also nearby. Please see 'Getting around' section for further details on connections.
    There are many restaurants and shops in easy reach of the house, which I am happy to tell you about. I have provided a folder to give you information about the locality. Croydon is in close proximity where you are able to find entertainment of different kinds.

    Travel to London is fairly easy: train from Caterham about 40-45 mins. Fast train from Purley (20mins) by bus 20mins. The room is spacious for double bed (sofa bed). A additional single folding bed can be fitted to accommodate a 3rd person in the room, on request, but there will not be much space for storing luggage.     This room is on the ground floor, currently used as Dining Room/Bed Room. When booked the room is completely private use for the guest(s), with a lock for security. Sleeping accommodation is with double size Sofa bed, a fitted wardrobe space with a mirror door. Additionally, we can fit a folding bed for 3rd person to sleep in, with a bit of squeeze (see photos).     Main railway station is Caterham, accessible by a bus-ride for 10-15 mins. Caterham to London main station is about 45 mins away. Direct line is every 30 mins. Sushi class/dinner/lunch available on request. Close to local shops incl. Tesco Extra supermarket, restaurants, takeaways etc.
    The house is airy, and bright throughout. The owner is very much interested to communicate with the guests from all over the world. We have 2 rooms and 2 separate bathrooms(both bathrooms are co-used with the owner) with showers to offer to the guests . My house is 0.4 miles, 7-minute walk from purley Train station, easy transport links to London Bridge(20 min), Victoria(25 min), Gatwick Airport and only one minute walk from the bus station. High street(restaurants, pubs, Tesco etc ) is a 5-minute walk from home. Purley is a very safe area of greater London. High spec beautiful house, large room king-size bed & comfortable mattress(TEMPUR®). and a private bathroom.
    Breakfast: - Guest can use milk, eggs, cereals, fruits, tea, coffee, honey, sugar bread, and butter. - Separate water filter drinking tap.
