We welcome you to stay in our self contained studio, positioned on the ground floor of our home. If you’re concerned with noise, this perhaps isn’t the place for you as our living room is directly above the studio. We have a young family & 2 dogs who can be noisy at times. Generally from 8pm to 7am it’s quiet. The 1x bedroom studio features kitchen, bathroom, living space with aircon, an outdoor courtyard & roadside parking. It has its own private access, seperate from the main house entrance.

Welcome to the Hidden Valley Retreat, your perfect escape for tranquil, rural living. This beautifully appointed, self-contained suite boasts 32 sqm of elegance, comfortably hosting two guests. Just a short drive away, explore the Tauriko Shopping Centre with its bars, restaurants, and cinemas. Tauranga's vibrant city life and beaches are also within easy reach. Our suite offers a private entrance and stunning views of the valley basin, making it the perfect spot for relaxing and unwinding.

Get comfortable and enjoy plenty of extra room at this spacious place - separate lounge, dining, bedroom and bathroom. Big screen TV with Netflix in cosy lounge. Outside covered seating to enjoy eating or watching the starry sky at night. Park-like grounds and birdsong during the day. Our location in semi-rural Welcome Bay puts you in easy reach of the surrounding Tauranga/Mt Maunganui/Papamoa/Te-Puke areas ( about 15-20 mins drive). Only 1 hours drive to Rotorua. 50 minutes to Hobbiton.

The Orchard Studio.

Our newly renovated Studio has been a joy to create and we are excited to finally share this space with you. It is a private small Studio nestled in behind large 80 yr old Californian Redwood and Atlas Cedar trees looking out onto an organic avocado orchard and expansive gardens. It is a private studio on an orchard but handy to cafes , restaurants and shopping centers, right beside busy Pyes Pa Road. If you are looking for something bigger we also have the Orchard Guesthouse on AirBnB.

This very cute and comfortable self contained unit has a king size bed, with ensuite (shower and toilet). Includes basic kitchenette that has a microwave, air fryer, electric frypan, fridge, plus tea & coffee facilities. There is no kitchen sink, so not ideal for lots of cooking, but perfect for basic heat ups etc. Two minutes walk to beach, shops, cafés and restaurants. Off street parking, with bus stop outside.
