An historic boathouse over the water, guests enjoy a private deck, with shower, dock & grill downstairs. Enjoy the majesty of the St. Lawrence River - fishing, swimming and sunsets!!

The Chez Heron was built in 1872 out of local limestone and was made to resemble a small Gothic castle. It is nationally registered as a historical structure. Enjoy the views from the deck. There is also a conveniently located public boat launch and public beach area at the top of the road.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Sit on the front porch and watch the main channel of the St. Lawrence River and enjoy this busy working river. Recently remodeled cottage, very quiet and close to everything. Located in the American Narrows between Swan Bay and Point Vivian. We do have a private dock available for an extra fee, water levels permitting.
