Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Bathroom is off suite from main Bedroom. Close to Vergelegen Medi Clinic if you need to spend a night to be close to a loved one and Erinvale Golf Club for that home away from home while enjoying days of golfing. Cape Town International airport is only 30 min drive.

Sunbird Cottage - Somerset West

My place is in the heart of the Cape Winelands, in the picturesque town of Somerset West. Ideally located, only a scenic 20 min drive into the tourist town of Stellenbosch. 40 min to Cape Town CBD. 10 min to the beach. 1 hour to Hermanus (whale viewing and shark diving). Plenty of wine estates for tasting /meals (Lourensford & Vergelegen only 5 minutes away). Many hiking trails & MTB trails within walking/cycling distance. My place is good for couples , adventurers, business travelers.

The Rigel Retreat

The Rigel Retreat is a relaxing getaway with amazing garden views which backs onto a nature reserve. The private open plan interior with an attached kitchenette. Hillside Cottage

Come and stay in our peaceful studio cottage high up on Helderberg Mountain surrounded by trees and hear the owls hooting as you fall asleep! Beautiful new cottage, with it's own deck and garden and stylishly furnished to meet your every need. And now with solar installed (April 2023) we have NO LOAD-SHEDDING! We've replaced the oven and hob with a fully gas stove so all appliances can be used during load shedding!
