  • El lloc de Carl ha superat les meves expectatives. És tan net i ben cuidat. La cuina és tan útil, més l'esmorzar (llet, cafè, te, sucre, cereals i pa) va ser increïble. El disseny d’interiors és molt bonic i dóna el bon ambient per a Londres. Però sobretot, els consells sobre viatges són de gran ajuda i han situat el lloc per sobre de la resta. Gràcies! Només heu d’anar amb compte a l’ús del bany, sobretot si sou una persona alta. Però a part, el lloc és increïble.

  • Agafeu aquesta reserva si teniu la sort de trobar-la oberta, sobretot si es tracta d’una parella o d’una família petita. [Sí, la dutxa / banys configurats és una mica divertit (vegeu altres comentaris), però és totalment funcional. ] Carl és un amfitrió realment agradable i l’espai està impecable, a menys de 10 minuts a peu de la Central Line, en un barri residencial, amb entrada privada. Hi ha moltes botigues i restaurants al voltant de l'estació de metro , i només uns 30 minuts fins al centre de Londres. Val la pena !! Pa i llet fresca, juntament amb els bàsics d’esmorzar eren al seu lloc i molt apreciats després d’un llarg viatge en tren.

    We offer a double room in our East London terraced house. The house is close to two tube stations that can take you into Central London in less than 30 minutes. There are numerous shops, cafes, and takeaways in walking distance. Our house is safe and clean. This space is ideal for anyone visiting London on a budget.
    My house is located on a quiet street in East London not far from the 2012 Olympic park in Stratford. I offer a modern and clean double room with a sunny aspect and a pleasant view. This room shares a bathroom with one other room. *Be aware there is no use of the kitchen with this booking and breakfast is not included* There are many places nearby for food at all budget levels. My house is located in the residential area of Forest Gate; an ethnically diverse and now rapidly changing area of London. It is walking distance to Upton park tube station, Forest Gate train station, and many bus stops to the city centre. Supermarkets and places to eat are also a short walk. The bedroom has a lockable door and you get your own set of keys. The bathroom is adjacent to your bedroom shared with one other room. This is a shared house and I live here with my wife. Your room is on the top floor with one other bedroom and a bathroom. We treat the house like a little hotel and everything is kept neat and tidy for you. You can come and go as you please. It’s easy to get to my house from the airports. If you're arriving from Stanstead Airport you may want to use the National Express bus service to London Stratford (I recommend you book online prior to arrival in London as often there is a long queue for tickets). If coming from Luton the National Express bus (book online prior to arriving is best) departs from right outside the airport exit and will take you to Baker Street in the city where you can connect to the tube network. Gatwick Airport has a train station in the airport which connects you direct to the city. I recommend getting the train to London Bridge or Blackfriars (not Victoria if possible). If coming from Heathrow you are best to use the tube. The Piccadilly line will take you into the city. I recommend changing to the District line at Earls court to get to Upton Park (going east). You will need to allow for about two hours travel time to my house as London is a bigger city than it looks.
    The house is within the residential district of FOREST GATE part of the London Borough of Newham. This is not in the heart of London but has good transport links into the centre. The area of Forest Gate is very multicultural and has a large Muslim community. The area is changing rapidly but it still value for money when compared to most parts of inner London. The main benefits of this area are the easy transport links into central London and many fast food takeaways and other places to eat. Also the large Westfield shopping center and 2012 Olympic park at Stratford are very close by.

    We have a double bedroom in a modern house in Thamesmead, Greenwich, South East London. We own the house and would like to give someone the chance of somewhere to stay at a reasonable price. You'd have your own private double bedroom (king size bed) with tv, private bathroom, and a shared Kitchen / diner. Use of garden room for relaxing and watching TV or videos. The house also has internet wi fi connection, washing machine and tumble dryer. We have a very pleasant garden to use on "sunny days" + a BBQ. and on hot days by arrangement a garden hot tub. Nearby there is a bus stop, with buses that go to Woolwich, for High Street shops (10mins) the O2 ( 20 mins ) and Greenwich Park ( 30 mins ). Greenwich also has a lot more to offer a visitor including Museums, famous Craft and Antique markets, bistros , restaurants and many famous old pubs. The house overlooks a lake so it is very quiet and tranquil. We are a 10 minute walk to the supermarket or you could hitch a lift with us when we go! Two quiet but very friendly guys to share with. Non Smokers only.

  • No ha estat la primera experiència a Airbnb, però sí la primera vegada compartint habitació en una casa i ha estat la millor experiència en Airbnb que hem tingut. Viatjàvem en parella i tot, absolutament tot ha estat immillorable, des de la qualitat humana que ens han mostrat Robert i Antonio fins a la meravellosa casa que tenen. El lloc és fantàstic, als afores de Londres, a uns 15 km de el centre, un llac al davant de casa molt bonic pel qual pots passejar, 2 parades de bus a menys de 200 metres de la casa, el metro està relativament a prop, i les possibilitats d'arribar a el centre de Londres són magnífiques. La rebuda va ser molt agradable i fins i tot Robert es va oferir a portar-nos a l'supermercat amb cotxe. En general un 10/10, estem molt contents d'haver-los conegut. Recomanable a el 100%

    The loft room was added to our home about 3 years ago for my daughter and her husband. They have now moved out and so the loft is available to guests. There is a family sitting room and bathroom on the first floor, kitchen on the ground floor. The stairs to the loft are quite steep - please take a look at the photos before booking!
    The house is situated opposite a small park with tennis courts and plenty of space to walk, jog, run! There are also plenty of small shops/supermarkets near-by, including a cafe, patisserie/coffee shop and our local fish and chip shop! About five minutes' walk away is the local high street, with bigger supermarkets, banks, pharmacies and other shops. Around the corner is the local library and leisure centre, with a swimming pool and gym. Stratford is a short bus-ride away (or a 45-minute walk!) and there you'll find Westfield Shopping Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. You can also get a direct bus to Stansted Airport from Stratford.

La descripció de Zahra de les escarpades escales per accedir a l'habitació és exacta, sense cap problema, un cop que hi heu acostumat, però no per a tothom. Va estar contenta d’ajudar-me a aixecar la maleta amunt i avall, per la qual cosa vaig estar molt agraïda. L'habitació estava impecable i còmoda i Zahra era molt amable i hospitalari, tot i que jo estava fora o fora de lloc que amb prou feines vam tenir ocasió de parlar. Va ser un plaer anomenar aquesta base a Londres durant unes setmanes. Gràcies!

  • L'habitació de la golfeta on em vaig allotjar al lloc de Zahra era exactament com es mostra. Era net, gran i tenia tot el que necessitava. L’habitació té molta il·luminació natural i era perfecta per a la meva curta setmana que vaig passar a Londres per treballar. Tal com s'indica a la descripció, el golfes requereix escales abruptes i l'habitació disposa de dutxa i lavabo, hi ha dos banys disponibles per al seu ús. El lloc Zahras es troba al costat de dues parades d'autobús ia poca distància a peu fins a l'estació de East Ham. Hi ha una gran quantitat de botigues, comerços i restaurants, des de l'estació i des del seu lloc, de manera que es troba en una zona molt convenient. Zahra és un amfitrió genial i molt amable. Vaig gaudir de la meva estada i sens dubte li recomanaria el seu lloc i em quedaria aquí de nou.

A wonderful base for everything that London offers, as a tourist, or for business. Voted the best ‘village’ in London, Wanstead is close to great attractions such as the Queen Elizabeth park and the O2 arena. We have plenty of guide books, for you to make the most of the local area and central London.
    The Coach House is a lovely 10 minute walk from the nearest train/ tube network station and 3 minutes to the bus. Set in the garden of the main house, the Coach house is secluded and totally private. You will be welcomed by Peter and Michele with a gourmet starter pack of food and drink to make you as comfortable as possible. Bread , cookies and pasta sauce are among the gourmet/homemade treats we are delighted to offer you. If you are bringing your dog, we provide special treats for them as well. The park is literally 2 minutes away. Perfect for walks with or without a pet!You can choose to be totally self catering or opt for breakfast as well. Bread and jams are home made , juice is freshly squeezed , all other ingredients are organic and locally sourced. Evening meals are available on request All bed linen ,towels and toiletries are luxury standard and gowns and slippers are provided. Of course, as you would expect there is free high speed WiFi and Cable TV. A comprehensive set of guides, maps and and local information are available. Peter and Michele would be delighted to give you advice, suggestions and recommendations with their extensive knowledge of London and the local area. We can help with reservations for the theatre, restaurants etc. We have also provided suggested itineraries with detailed information to help to make the most of your time in London. We love living in London and we will try our very best to ensure that you love it too!
    What can we say about London ?The best city in the world! Our local area ,Wanstead is thriving and lively. Its high street has specialist shops plus small supermarkets. There are lots cafes, restaurants ,pubs,coffee shops. Indian , Turkish, French, Italian, English cuisine cater for a wide variety of tastes , all within walking distance. Wanstead is a little gem and has been voted the best 'village' in London. It is picturesque , historical and very safe. Transport links into central London are excellent. Wanstead is on the central line and has 2 tube stations. Planning journeys to any area of London is very easy. You can even choose to 'fly' on the cable car , get the dock lands light railway, catch a high speed boat on the river, or ride on the top deck of a red London bus. There are so many essay and fun ways to travel into central London. The Olympic Park is only 2 stops away . It is a wonderful venue for a wide variety of activities, all within beautiful gardens and canals. Wanstead is the perfect combination of small and friendly, green and beautiful and wonderful part of London.

It is a perfect choice for those looking to let a space with an easy access to the City and Central London. It is an ideal choice for a couple or a small family of up to 4 persons. A large bedroom with an Italian queen-size, solid wood bed is a guarantee of a good night sleep. Open plan layout is perfect for family vacation with a sofa-bed in the lounge that turns into a really comfortable double bed. A generous balcony that overlooks a private, communal area can be used as a designated smoking area. Royal Docklands area is in zone 3 bordering with zone 2 (London is divided in radial zones from 1 (central) to 6, so the area is well located given how big and spread out the city is).
    LOCATION: The apartment is located in a residential area of Canning Town and Royal Victoria. The area is mostly filled with families and young professionals working in Canary Wharf and the City. There are few local groceries 2, 3 minutes away. Royal Docklands filled with local bars, restaurants and Excel are 10 minutes walk. Barking High Street is also 10 minutes away. You can find there many local shops, breakfast places and cafes. AREA: The Royal Victoria Dock is the largest of three docks in the Royal Docks of east London, now part of the redeveloped Docklands. Royal Docklands area is in zone 3 bordering with zone 2 (London is divided in radial zones from 1 (central) to 6, so the area is well located given how big and spread out the city is). GOING OUT/ EATING OUT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOOD SHOPS & SUPERMARKETS: 'The Cooperative' and Tesco supermarkets are 10 minutes away. There are few more small local food markets (Off-Licence shops) and take away restaurants round the corner form the apartment (2 min away). EXCEL: Excel Exhibition Center is a walking distance away (10 minutes) with many shops, restaurants, bars and pubs to enjoy during a day and at night. DRINK: The Oiler - Just the opposite of Nakhon Thai restaurant there is a great little local boat pub called The Oiler. The bar is small but there is a good selection. Staff is chatty and friendly. I like this bar because I love the feel of a boat in the middle of a city with a beach view. It is located in a good location near the Emirates Sky Line. FOOD & DRINK: Docklands Bar and Grill - It is a stylish, Modern European Brasserie open until late night and with a great variety of foods both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. I went there few times and was more than impressed veggie main dishes. Despite the lack of organisation in the service, I always leave satisfied. FOOD & DRINK: The Fox at Excel - With plenty of comfortable sitting spaces, relaxing atmosphere and good low background music The Fox may be just what you need. Conveniently located next to the Excel Exhibition Centre this a really nice pub built within an old warehouse. It has high ceilings and old brick walls. Great selection of drinks and food. Beware, lunch times it can get quite packed as conference attendees arrive to partake in liquid refreshment. Pleasant environment, nice food and good selection of drinks. Cheesecake is superb! OTHER ATTRACTIONS: Emirates Air Line - Royal Docks - Superb views and inexpensive using Oyster card. The cable car is fun, and a good bird's eye view of East part of London/Docklands at cheap price equal to a tube ticket.
  • El registre d’entrada va ser molt fàcil aquí, amb una comunicació ràpida i exhaustiva. Em van proporcionar fotos per ajudar amb ubicacions que era perfecte. L'apartament és a poca distància a peu per la ciutat, que era absolutament ideal per a mi, a prop de les rutes DLR i d'autobús, però tranquil i una escapada del bullici del centre de Londres. El pis en si és preciós, amb grans comoditats i un gran caràcter. Les obres d’art a les parets, el llit còmode i els accessoris amb estil, fan que aquest pla sigui una mica més bo que els AirBnB habituals. Sens dubte tornaré a quedar-me si aviat estic a Londres.

  • L'apartament era com les fotos. El pany de seguretat de la porta principal era fantàstic. Ens ha agradat especialment l’ascensor a l’apartament. Estava impecable i estava molt ben equipat. Era càlid i el llit era còmode. Hem trobat la zona segura i tranquil·la i estàvem segurs caminant des de les estacions a les fosques. L'estació de Canning i l'estació de Royal Victoria estaven a poca distància fins i tot amb maletes. La petita botiga local tenia tots els articles que necessitàvem per a una cuina independent. Vam visitar l’O2 i la companyia aèria Emerites era la forma més fàcil i còmoda de viatjar. Els propietaris van respondre immediatament a les trucades telefòniques. Ens quedaríem aquí de nou si fóssim a aquesta zona de Londres.

    We are situated in Thamesmead, Royal Borough of Greenwich direct on the Thames path which is a beautiful scenic route taking you to our Local train station is Royal Woolwich Arsenal. The stations is a 25minute walk, or 10 minute drive from our apartment, there are also a few buses 244 and 380 outside of our apartment to go straight into Woolwich Center. Tesco express supermarket 7-8 Thames Reach, Thamesmead, London SE28 0NY 0.3 miles Also has dominos pizza And princess Alice Pub Woolwich Arsenal train station Trains come every 10-15 minutes taking you straight into central London- stopping at London Bridge, Waterloo east and Charing Cross.     Famous for Dagenham Sunday Market, perfect for an afternoon out or just bargain hunting. A 2 min walk to Dagenham high street, and 5 min walk to Dagenham Heathway Underground Station access to Tower Hill and Victoria - 35 mins. Please note that there is a late check out fee of £10 per hour. However we will allow an hour grace period. If you lose the key you will have to pay for the locks to be changed due to the inconvenience and lack of safety. The prices can vary and an invoice will be sent to you.

    Set in a new modern development within 5/10 minute walk of Harold Wood Station, our large 2 bedroom flat is the perfect place to stay. Harold Wood station ( zone 6) provides direct access to central London within 26 minutes to Stratford and 36 minutes to London Liverpool Street. With trains running every 10 minutes you have the luxury of being close to London at a fraction of the cost. The room itself benefits from a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of draws, bedside cabinets and lamps and of course fresh bedding. There is a 32" Smart TV with Freeview Play, Netflix and Amazon Prime capable. Next to the room is the bathroom which you will have sole use of (we have an ensuite) which has been rarely used and as such 'good as new'. Clean towels, toiletries etc all provided. The shared livingroom and fully equipped kitchen makes a sociable space. There will always be fresh bread, milk, cereals, tea and coffee for breakfast. Additionally plenty of room in the fridge/freezer should you wish to do your own cooking etc. Dishwasher, cooker, microwave etc all available for use. We have unlimited broadband. There is plenty of on street parking with no restrictions and plenty of spaces should you require it. A large 24 hour Tesco is 5 minutes walk away. About us - we are a gay couple in our thirties, both professionals working full time.     We call this "The Little House". Positioned to the side of our home, it offers comfortable, private accommodation in a lovely area within easy walking distance of Brentwood High Street and both Brentwood and Shenfield stations. The Little House has just been fully refurbished so everything is fresh and new and for a limited introductory period, will be available at a bargain price so book it now if you like a bargain. We're new to this so would appreciate all feedback to help us improve!
    Complete with breakfast bar, kitchenette, shower room the double bedroom with wardrobe this Little House offers charming, quiet and secure accommodation. With an off road parking space next to the accommodation and situated only 4 minutes walk from Brentwood High Street and 13 Minutes walk from Brentwood station, the Little House makes an excellent base for exploring the delights of Essex or London via Liverpool Street Station by train only about 45 minutes away. Although the town centre location is very convenient, the setting does not feel urban since local houses are of generous proportions and are well spaced with big gardens. This, with the open playing fields of Brentwood School on the opposite of the road lend the accommodation a feeling of almost rural tranquility. The accommodation has been newly refurbished to a very high and thermally efficient standards with double glazed windows helping to provide a comfortable environment for guests at any time of year. The kitchenette is equipped with microwave, hob, sink, fridge, toaster, Nespresso coffee machine and electric kettle with basic cooking utensils and cutlery to hand. The hot water tank is massive and provides generous supplies of hot water for the thermostatic shower instantly. We also have "his and hers" town bikes which guests are welcome to borrow. The down side? We are building a bicycle garage and patio adjacent to the Little House for future guest use and so the external surroundings are a work in progress hence the bargain basement price!
    We are a short walk from Shenfield Common which leads on to Thorndon Park offering lovely walking and an ideal place to fill your lungs with fresh air. Brentwood High Street is just around the corner with a vast choice of restaurants, pubs and wine bars. Locally, the best restaurant is probably Felix in Great Warley but there are many fine restaurants within the Brentwood area offering a choice of cuisine to satiate any palate. Although only 5 minutes drive from junctions 28 or 29 of the M25, head into Essex and you find that Brentwood is surrounded by lovely English countryside with many beautiful parks such as South Weald Park or Hylands Park and a copius supply of public footpaths and convivial pubs. Chelmsford, Britain's newest city is about 15 miles away and can be reached by train, bus or car and this offes excellent shopping facilities as well as being the home of many fine shows and exhibitions including the annual V festival. There are regular concerts held in the Brentwood Centre which is about 15 minutes walk away and we always enjoy visiting the Brentwood Theatre which is small, but the local thespians put on excellent productions throughout the year. Slightly further afield is Southend-on-Sea which is famous for having the world's longest pier. This is worth a vist to walk (or take the train to the end and back) and the esplanade is miles in length with golden sandy beaches, formal cliff gardens and even a leisure park for those with the stomach for such things. For retail therapy, the choice in London is extraordinary but other venues close by are Lakeside in Thurrock and Bluewater which is just over the Dartford bridge (make sure you pay the toll!) while Stratford station give direct access to Westfield shopping Centre. If visiting Stratford and Westfield, it's probably worth planning a vist to the Olympic park just next door.

You have a very warm additional blanket as well and, if needed, you will be supplied with any necessary heating. There is a TV on the fire-place, with all basic UK programmes.
