My place is a little bit like an oasis away from the hectic City or West End action but yet so close. 10 minute walk and you are on Boundary Street. 5 minutes walk to a Greek and Thai. Of course there is a bottle shop. 5 minutes further you enter the strip of restaurants on Hardgrave Road. There is so much to do and explore around my place. The space is downstairs and you have your own entrance and carport. There is heaps of unlimited parking on the street. There are 2 bedrooms and a kitchen.
My place is an old Queenslander.
Iris’s home is located in West End, Queensland, Australia. West End is such a great place to explore, you will just love it!!!

The place is very close to the City, public transport and family-friendly activities. Great central location with an easy walk to City, SouthBank Parklands, WestEnd cafes/restaurants, Brisbane river, Cultural Centre, museums and galleries. This one-bedroom apartment is located in a secure, well maintained small complex of 35 units. My place is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
Property features include: - Lounge area with sofa bed, 42” TV-DVD and dunning table - Kitchen is equipped with appliances (fridge, cooktop, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice coker), utensils and plates - Queen bed in the bedroom with desk, chest and wardrobe - The sofa-bed in the living room converts into a two-person sofa bed, which fits 2 guests comfortably. Extra towels, linen and pillows are provided upon request. - Basic amenities are provided including clean bedding, fresh towels and bathroom supplies. - Small balcony off the bedroom and big balcony off the living area (with table/chairs) - Air conditioning unit in the bedroom and ceiling fan in the living area - Free secure parking for one car (Please inform me if you have a car). There are covered and uncovered spaces. The car parking will fit for any high (no clearance limit for uncovered parking spaces). - Unlimited Wi-Fi internet - Security throughout with security gate access to complex - Pool with spa and two outdoor entertaining areas - Communal laundry area with coin washing machines and dryers - The complex is approx 20 years old, the apartment was refurbished recently - The unit is located on the ground level. There are 13+4 stairs on the way from the parking. There are 6+3+7+3 stairs on the way from the main gate. If you want I can send photos. There is no lift in the complex.
Close to multiple public transport options (bus, train, ferry), as well as a City Council bike station and bike ways. South Brisbane train satiation is about a 5 min walk. Easy access to airport via AirTrain. All information can be found online, and costs approximately $16 per ticket. Walking distance to Coles, Woolworth, shops and cafes.

Un lloc fantàstic situat a prop del centre de convencions South Brisbane, el museu, la galeria i l'estació principal de la ciutat. Fins i tot a poca distància a peu fins a la riba sud.

  • L’entrada als cotxes és al lateral de l’edifici, vam haver de tornar-hi dues vegades perquè el carrer és de sentit únic. Des de l'apartament, podeu arribar a la ciutat a peu i admirar la platja, a prop de molts restaurants. Els trens passen a prop de l'habitatge i en aquests moments és força sorollós, però tampoc no deixa de patir. L'apartament és ampli i hi ha tot el necessari fins a la bugaderia.

    Large, airy room, queen bed with double mattresses with your own private bathroom in bright, sunny home in fabulous, quirky West End. Walking distance 10 minutes about 800m to fabulous restaurants and bars in West End, 15 minutes to Southbank and 18 minutes to Brisbane City. Relaxed atmosphere, easy going hosts, access to a gorgeous large deck overlooking white, sandy beach pool, tropical gardens. Deck with lounge chairs and upstairs rooftop deck has amazing sunset views to chill out.
    We call it "The Last Resort "because it has its own private beach with silky white sand, pool, huge rear deck with comfy lounges and rooftop deck with views of the river and sunset drinks. West End is a vibrant, alternative, gay friendly area with a wild collections of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and music venues similar to Fitzroy and Surry Hills. The house is white inside and out and catches all the sunrises and sunsets. Your room has a large queen sized bed, and a private ensuite in a white and airy bedroom within a renovated Queenslander house in West End, Brisbane. We live on the same level of the house and our adult children live downstairs. It is so close to the city but so leafy and quiet just near the river but five minutes walking distance to 20 fabulous West End coffee shops, 16 bars and over 40 restaurants. Only 2 kilometres from the centre of the city, all the tourist venues and Southbank Cultural Centre - you can walk, catch a bus or go luxury style in a Rivercat Ferry. We have a limit of 12 days to stay with us because we still love some time to ourselves. We have renovated 5 houses and this is definitely The Last Resort - we don't have another renovation in us! It's bright and white, high ceilinged and airy with tropical gardens. There are plenty of different areas to escape or areas to sit and have a chat. You also have to share the house with two loveable and very friendly white puppies. On the weekends we are happy to share a BBQ and some great Aussie wines or just some advice on the greatest places to go in Brisvegas and tours up and down the coast. Our names are Paula and Rob and we have travelled extensively in Europe Asia and the Carribean. My last adventure was 3 months backpacking around South America and we both love to hear about travel adventures. There is a huge gourmet kitchen if you are into cooking, wireless Internet, street parking and cable in the living room. It's a place to chill out and relax, quiet and secluded but so close to the city and all the action. It's a great location to base yourselves for day trips up to Noosa Heads, Australia Zoo and down to Byron Bay. The buses leave not far from here and if we are around we can drop you at the station.
    Quiet, leafy residential area of Brisvegas full of birdlife, possums and bush turkeys with a view of the river. Close to quirky, eclectic, fabulous bars, live music venues, at least 30 restaurants all within 10-15 minutes walking distance.

    Large and sunny queenslander, 8 min by car to the City or 30 minutes walking distance. The house is beside West End a livelig neighbourhood. We have a great view over the city. Highgate Hill / West End, are the most beautiful and popular suburbs in brisbane for their Restaurants, bars and coffees. In West End you can go to a Greek, Vietnamese, Thai, Turkish, French, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Eritrean etc. restaurants. Live music in different bars and venues. Welcome to my home.
    The house is a Queenslander right beside the Highgate Hill Park with beautiful views of the city. The room is spacious and light, it has two entrances door wich provide airflow, air cond and light, it has also a window. You can use the blinds at night to make it dark. The room has a a ceiling fan too. You will not hear traffic noise and the WIFI connection is good. Peppa may come and say hello sometimes. You will have enough rooom to settle and feel at home. You have an iron bord and an iron for your convenience.
    The neighbourhood is one of the most popular in Brisbane since there are lots of restaurants and nice places to have a coffee in West End. West End is an old traditional suburb. Lots of travellers come to the park beside the house to take photos of the city and see the fire works on New Years Eve and for Brisbane Festival, Australia day etc. In Highgate Hill / West End we walk everywhere, it is nice to get to know the area full of traditional queenslander houses. The neighbourhood is very ethnical you will see different faces and everybody happy. Lots of students and intellectual hippies. Myself I love West End and I could not live anywhere else.

    Our Penthouse Studio offers a spacious open plan room, suitable for a single person, couple, family (including babies) and business travellers. Balcony overlooking the fabulous Hinterland views of Brisbane, the entire studio is exclusively yours. ☺ Apartment size: 80m2 Large balcony: with outdoor al fresco dining area. This is an open plan space with the option of a king size bed or 2x single beds. With 2x fold out sofa chair beds available for extra persons at an extra cost. Guests have access to DVD player with DVDs. We also have DVDs suitable for children. For a family with infants and toddlers. I do charge $20 for the use of a Portacot, includes bedsheets and blankets. Please let me know if you wish to have this option so I can set it up prior to your arrival. But if you wish to set up the Portacot yourself and put away, then there is no charge or if your children are sleeping with you. We can set up a play tent upon request. I have a baby bathtub for your convenience. Ceiling fan in lounge space and in bedroom space with remote controls for extra comfort. There are two air conditioners, one in the bedroom area and the other in the kitchen. Kitchenette - stand alone cooktop and stove - microwave - toaster - sandwich maker - jug - coffee plunger - pots, pans, utensils, crockery and more. My building is a hotel/apartment. There is a restaurant at Lobby level, open only for breakfast and serves continental breakfast during weekdays or there is Cafe 63 down the road (3mins walk). Bathroom - bath and hand towels - shampoo & conditioner - body wash - hairdryer. I have a suction grab bar for you to use to assists your balance while entering or exiting the shower. There are no steps in the apartment. Housekeeping is available at an added cost $25. This can be organised during your stay. Extra sheets and towels are available at extra costs.
    The apartment is located at 311 Vulture Street, South Brisbane. Hillcrest Apartment Hotel. We are located next door to Mater Private Hospital, near Queensland Children's Hospital 8mins walk down to the heart of Southbank, cafes, restaurants, cinema and shops Approx 15 - 20mins walk to Art galleries, Queensland Museum, QPAC, the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, State Library of Queensland, The Wheel of Brisbane, GOMA and the Gabba Cricket ground 5mins walk down to the Maritime Museum Ferry Terminal – ride on the free CityHopper to the city or cruise part of the Brisbane River 10 mins to Riverstage, Brisbane and Queensland of Technology University Suncorp Stadium is about 3.7km walk away. If you have pre-purchased tickets to Games or Concerts you can travel on the bus for free to and from the stadium. Mater Hill Station is about 5 mins walk from the apartment. Coming back from the stadium, go down to the Bus station and catch the Eight Miles Plains bus (third bus stop - Mater Hill Station).

    My classic old 'Queenslander' home is in a quiet street in 'funky' West End, & also just 15 mins to the city centre! Plenty of public transport, & also off-street parking. Good coffee is just around the corner, literally! My dog Rusty is happy to have the company of another dog. In summer, there is a mosquito net for bed-time. Its a non-smoking home. I work from home, so prefer you are not here all of the day. Check in 10 am-9 pm.
    I try to live sustainably, so I have grown native plants as well as a veg garden in my back yard. Recycled wood & low emission paint have been used in the house. I have only basic kitchen appliances to reduce my fossil fuel usage. My huge back deck was made with locally grown timbers, and is great for reading or just relaxing.
    I've lived in West End for 15 years. It has a great community vibe; its multicultural and 'funky', & easy to meet people. My house is easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants, shops, the CBD & public transport. Its also delightful walking along the riverbank (5 minutes from here). And our markets on Saturday mornings are a must.

    My Granny flat is spacious and confortable for two people or a family, it is a no smoking inside flat, it is located at 8 minutes walk from the most exciting neighbourhoods of Brisbane with a lovely cafes, bars, restaurants. You can choose to eat Indian, greek, Italian, Vietnamese, chinese, libanese, turkish (Caravanserai with outstanding reviews). West End also has an excellent market on Saturdays morning called Davies Park Market, here you could have your breakfast and also can say hello to me and taste my delious paella and chilli con carne that I cook in my Stall.
    If you are a couple I recommend you to dinner at Caravanserai some blocks away from my house. The food is Turkish, delicious and good service, little greek is another restaurant and you can not miss the Three monkeys cafe in West End. It is an old house with lots of 3 monkeys... you have to see it :-)

    The private room is upstairs in a townhouse (bathroom and toilet adjacent) which is near to Southbank, the museums, art galleries and city centre. The latter can be reached on foot (25 minutes) or by bus or City Cat ferry, both of which are less than 10 minutes away.
    Downstairs I have a widescreen TV with a Blu-Ray player, and Netflix and Foxtel streaming services. These are available to guests, providing I am not using them. (Guest of course are welcome to watch with me.) I love interacting with guests and am happy to share a glass of beer or wine with them. I speak German and French fluently and am keen to welcome people from these countries so I can practise my languages.
    I live in West End, a quiet, leafy suburb with lots of cheap cafes and an alternative, arty vibe.

    Our comfortable and quiet one-bedroom apartment has a light and airy feel and is well located with easy access to all of Brisbane's major inner-city attractions.
    Clean, leafy, compact, fully furnished and kitchen equipped one-bedroom apartment with garden terrace and separate entrance. The bedroom has a double bed with good storage. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and the garden, which sometimes can be overgrown, has many herbs and spices to choose from for cooking. Front loading washing machine and a dryer are available. There is on-street parking for vehicles but West End is a regulated parking area by the Brisbane City Council. We have a digital Visitor Parking Permit which is restricted to parking in three street (Ganges, Hoogley & Jumna Streets). You will need to provide us with your car registration details so this can be logged.
