The apartment is 4 minutes by car into the main city square or you can take a ten minute walk to Sauchiehall street. In 1989 the development was converted from the warehouse building of Speirs Wharf, forming 150 loft-style residential apartments, a private leisure centre, and 19 commercial units. During the 19th Century, Speirs Wharf was at the hub of Glasgow's industrial revolution, with work commencing on the first phase of its development in 1811. The single building at the entrance to the development was built in 1812 as the offices for Forth & Clyde Navigation Co. *We've moved flats in the same building, we're now 5/3.* The perfect blend of location, comfort & hospitality from which to explore Scotland's greatest metropolis! Upon arrival, you will find a comfy room in a friendly apartment, nestled in one of the most historic areas of this historic city. While we don't provide breakfast, there is tea, coffee & a mini fridge in the room. Self checkin is available from 12, however the room is cleaned at 5:30.
The room itself is contemporary, clean, and comfortable, benefiting from its own private bathroom which is within the room so you're less likely to fall over during nighttime excursions trying to find a bathroom in an unfamiliar apartment.
The apartment itself is located about a fifteen minute walk, in a straight line, from St. Enoch subway station - directly between the Merchant City, Glasgow's luxury district, and the Barrowlands, a Glasgow institution with it's ballroom by the same name commonly playing host to musicians of international renown. Walking passed this, you will find a large Morrison's supermarket, which offers all the groceries you could possibly need should you be planning a more extended stay. Given the apartment's close proximity to the city centre, there is walking access to literally anything the city centre has to offer. As a brief run down of Glasgow's more famous attractions, Glasgow Green containing the architectural majesty of the People's Palace and Winter Gardens (and fermentational majesty of West Brewery's official bar, one of Glasgow's craft breweries), Tennents Brewery, The Necropolis, Buchanan Street, Scottish Symphony Orchestra, The Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow Cathedral, Glasgow Film Theatre, Cineworld Glasgow (only worth mentioning because it's Europe's tallest cinema), The Arches, and the famous Duke of Wellington statue, are all quite easily within walking distance. King Tut's Wah-Wah Hut, The Stand Comedy Club, and Sub Club are close enough that most people would be able to walk to them, but might struggle on the way back after a few drinks.

  • Dana va ser extremadament amable fins i tot abans de rebre Glasgow. Com que el registre d'entrada és a les 18:00, em va deixar deixar les coses al seu lloc a l'hora del matí. L’habitació és gran, super neta, còmoda i càlida. La ubicació és excel·lent ia 15 minuts a peu del centre de la ciutat. Us recomano molt el seu lloc!

  • El lloc de Neil i Dana està molt ben situat. L'habitació estava molt neta i ben equipada. Ells eren fàcils de comunicar i de resposta ràpida als missatges. Vaig arribar a primera hora del dia i em van arreglar per recollir les claus còmodes i fer el registre d’entrada. No vam tenir la possibilitat de xerrar durant molt de temps (extrema jet lag per part meva), però Dana va ser molt càlida i acollidora. Recomanaria!

  • Hem escollit el lloc de Dana & Neil per allotjar-nos després d'un concert al Barrowland Ballroom, i l'apartament està en una ubicació perfecta per a ell, a pocs minuts a peu. L'habitació en si és meravellosa, espaiosa, neta i amb molts detalls poc reflexius. El registre d’entrada va ser molt fàcil gràcies a les seves instruccions detallades i Dana va ser molt amable i acollidora quan vam arribar. Va respondre ràpidament als meus missatges i també va ser molt bona. Sens dubte tornarem a quedar-nos aquí si tornem a nit a Glasgow. Gràcies!!

    Delightfully romantic and quirky artist space based in an elevated position in central Glasgow, overlooking the Kelvingrove Park. This is the perfect self contained ground floor apartment from which to base yourself whether visiting Glasgow for work or on a city break. Walking distance from the Hydro, Kelvingrove galleries, the SECC and the University of Glasgow. Straddled between the City and the leafy west end, in the elegant Park Circus district of the city, the apartment was architect designed for compact and comfortable city living yet is spacious and airy and plenty of room for two. The apartment has a large living space, sofa and open plan kitchen, dining table and chairs. The huge bay windows with working shutters look onto the park area and views of the south of the city across the Clyde. Upstairs in the mezzanine (accessed via steep steps with no hand rail) there is a double bed with goose down bedding and this room overlooks the free standing bath with shower over; perfect for the voyeur....There is a separate toilet which is entirely private!. The apartment is heated by green energy ROINTE heaters and there is a MORSO wood burning stove that guests are welcome to use if they wish. The apartment is fully furnished with washing machine, TV, DVD & WIFI. linen and towels provided. The Kitchen is well equipped. This is a truly unique space and is ideally suited to singles or couples with an adventurous and romantic spirit...and is ideal for runners with the park directly outside the front door.     Suspended high above the city, what used to be the grand houses of city merchants have now been developed into luxury apartments like this one. City art galleries and Glasgow University are on the doorstep, and the town centre is also walkable.

    Welcome HOME! This is a double room (ensuite toilet & shower) in a 2 bedroom apartment. Guests have access to well-equipped kitchen and specious living room. Location is Centre of Glasgow. Only 10 minutes walk from Glasgow Central Station, across river Clyde. Easy access by bus, subway and trains. Area is residential, quiet and safe. Grocery store and supermarket right outside the building. Secure underground basement car park on property, available for free on request.
    The apartment is located on the south side of the river in an area zoned for development and is linked to the city centre via the 'Tradeston Bridge'. The apartment block is relatively new and in a quiet area despite being very close to all main transport links. 'Glasgow Central Station' is about 10 minutes walk over the River Clyde. 'Buchanan Bus Station' is about 20 minutes walk. Entertainment complex 'Springfield Quay', aka "The Quay” is five minutes away on the riverside. The Buchanan Street, the street with shops and tourist attractions is 10 minutes away or you can take the bus or Glasgow Subway (underground) to visit landmarks like the Kelvingrove Art Galleries, the Botanic Gardens in the West End or historic Glasgow Green and the nearby Merchant City.

Explore a more local part of the West End of the city of Glasgow with great individual eateries and shops on quiet streets leading to the Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin. Our original artworks and books gathered over many years coupled with natural oak and stone flooring create a very restful and pleasant atmosphere for your stay.....
    A very clean, modern and really well fitted out re-modelling of a traditional tenement flat. A good example of a typical Glasgow home but fully modernised. It is light and bright with good open aspects and views due to being top floor and taller than the buildings around. It has a very efficient layout and an excellent kitchen space open plan to the living area. The flat is well equipped with super-fast 150mbps wi-fi, hair dryer, L'Occitane toiletries, simple breakfast items, welcome pack, travel cot, umbrellas etc and a well equipped kitchen. We also have memory foam mattresses, excellent heating and insulation plus we only use ecological cleaning products.
    The flat is tucked away on a quiet residential street with open aspects to the south and great local shops and eateries very nearby. The busier parts of the West End are minutes away with the Botanic Gardens and River Kelvin also offering relaxing walks and pleasant pedestrian routes deeper into the city.

    In Glasgow's vibrant West End close to the city center. Superbly located next to Kelvingrove Art Gallery; with bus, subway and train services all within close proximity. Beautifully decorated with large rooms offering plenty of space.
    This is a top floor flat in a 3 story traditional sandstone building so iconic of Glasgow's city center and west end. There is a large living room with bay windows. The living room also has 2 sofas, a chair and a 42" flat screen TV (with HDMI cable available to connect to a laptop if you have one.) You will also have full access to Netflix on TV. The Kitchen is spacious and has a dinning table that sits 6 people. There is gas hobs and an electric oven and also a: microwave, coffee press and washing machine and dryer. The bedrooms have one King size bed (with a brand new mattress) and one double bed with plenty of storage space. A small office space with comfy chair and nice desk. Bathroom has shower and bath.
    Set within Glasgow's finest area for restaurants and bars. Great choice of food and drink with Argyle St, Byres Road and Sauchiehall street all adjacent and providing the best of what Glasgow has to offer. Surrounded by many fabulous attractions such as: the impressive Kelvingrove Art Gallery, the beautiful Kelvingrove Park and Botanic Gardens, Transport Museum, Tall Ship, SECC, the Hydro concert venue and Glasgow University.

    Central and bright 1 bedroom flat in the Merchant City, on the third floor (no lift). Fantastic choice of restaurants, bars, pubs and art galleries on your doorstep. St. Andrews on the Square is next door and Glasgow Green 1 minute walk away. The flat is proving popular with families, couples and travellers from all over. Self Check in available 24 hours as the keys can be picked up from a nearby secure collection point (3 minute walk)
    The flat is on the 3rd floor, with secure buzzer entry system in an original sandstone building in the heart of Glasgow. Please note there is no lift and there are 58 steps. The living room has sofa bed which sleeps 2 people comfortably (all sheets, covers and mattress topper provided), large TV screen, electric heater and black out blinds. The bathroom is new and modern with electric shower, clean towels, shampoo, shower gel, toilet paper all provided at no extra cost. There is also a heated towel rail. The kitchen is new and fully stocked with basics (coffee, sugar, tea, salt, oil etc). Please wash dry and put away anything that is used. Use the provided bin for any rubbish (I will dispose of any bags etc). There is a washing machine, washing powder and clothes horse for your use. Please note there is no dishwasher. The bedroom has a UK King size bed, black out blinds for a good night sleep. Also available is a travel cot for children under 2 if needed There's fast WIFI broadband, USB sockets and a universal plug.
    The flat is situated right beside St Andrew's in the Square, an 18th century A listed former church. It is now Glasgow's centre for Scottish Culture, and there is a restaurant/bar, Source, which serves scottish food. At the end of the road you will find Glasgow Green, a park on the north bank of the river Clyde. It is the oldest park in the city. This is where the People's Palace is situated. Also a 2 minutes walk from the Barrowland, famous for gigs and concerts.

    Our home is a pretty, cottage style house built in 1900, with generous sized rooms and lovely garden. Located in a private square with safe on street free parking. Located 200m from the train station, a a regular direct train (7min journey) can get you from our door to Glasgow City Centre within 10mins. Also similar time by car. We provide breakfast and also tea and coffee available for you throughout your stay. We often out and about so you will have privacy, but we also enjoy socialising!
    Generous size ground floor private double bedroom with space for clothing / storage. Views out across the square over a pretty park. Main door entry with key provided for duration of stay. Breakfast available included in the price in an open dining room. Shared bathroom with lovely rain shower. Shampoo and shower cream provided. Guests also have access to our patio in our garden with outdoor seating - beautiful spot for relaxing on a warm day/evening. Travel cot available for couples/parent with a small child and high chair available for use. We are also happy to provide some healthy snacks for your child free of charge. For golfers - Golf Clubs available to hire for a small daily fee.
    Great local coffee shops, restaurants and bars within 2 mins walk of the house. One of Glasgow’s best Steak Restaurants also minutes walk away.     My place is 2.5 miles from city centre.Just 15 minutes on bus. Train is only 2 stops and station 5 minutes away from my place. Ideal for business , or sightseeing. Free parking outside house. I have 2 friendly dogs,and you can be guaranteed to find my home clean and relaxing. Your room is quiet and the bed super comfy! Breakfast coffee,tea, and eggs, if my hens are laying! NO CLEANING FEE!! My place is ideal for unwinding and I'd like you to think of it as a home from home.
    Guests have their own double bedroom and a shared bathroom with shower. They also have full access to the dining room, kitchen area and living room if they want to watch what I'm watching on TV! I try and keep my house very clean,but it is a lived in house with 2 dogs, so it's not showroom standards. What it is, is somewhere that's ideal for relaxing at the end of your day, and my reviews should show that
    There is a chip shop, an Indian and a Korean take away, 5 minutes from my house. There are plenty of convenient shops as well. If you are driving,there's free parking right outside my house. A public park is 10 minutes away from my home. My house is very near all motorway links. The location of my place is ideal for anyone wanting to experience Glasgow

  • Vaig estar una setmana al pis de Mark i em va encantar. És un lloc tan acollidor i còmode, i disposa de tot el que pugui necessitar durant la vostra estada. El llit i la roba de llit són fabulosos. No hi ha cap plaça assignada per aparcar cotxes, però mai he tingut cap problema per aparcar a 20 metres de la casa. Espero que el pis estigui disponible si hauria de tornar a quedar-me a Glasgow.

L’apartament estava molt ben decorat i tenia totes les comoditats que necessitaves, tot i que no ens vam trobar amb Mark, era prou amable per deixar uns refrigeris a la nevera, cosa que vam apreciar ja que vam arribar força tard. Estava situat en un lloc molt agradable, a prop del transport públic i en un barri segur, les nostres poques interaccions amb els veïns eren absolutament perfectes. There are personal effects in the room, but they are all stored in cupboards and it is not cluttered, and there's plenty of space for a guest's luggage. It is a double bed. The kitchen and bathroom are both large and well-appointed.
    Traditional ground floor Victorian tenement flat in quiet street, located 2 km east of city centre in the heart of Dennistoun. It's only suitable for two people happy to share a double bed. (Until late April it's a double futon.) Stylish property with high ceilings, wooden floors and all mod cons, including wi fi, use of the kitchen, bath, shower, free street parking, good road/public transport links and close to amenities. We have a cat as well, so would prefer cat lovers.
    Dennistoun is an average suburb in the East End of Glasgow in terms of mix of people, income and housing stock. However, it has become quite trendy in recent years, with an organic cafe (Tapa), a cool restaurant (Tibo) and a hipster bar (Redmonds), alongside greasy spoon cafes and working man's pubs. There are all the usual amenities on our doorstep (supermarkets, library, post office, banks, etc). Our flat is a 30 minute walk or 10 minute bus/train/taxi journey from the city centre, which has everything a guest could possibly want.

We are are very close to Junction 1 of the M80 to go North or head towards the M8 to go West towards Glasgow Airport , East towards Edinburgh as well as South. Close to Glasgow city centre as well as short drive away from Celtic Park as well as Ibrox via M8 motorway For shopping enthusiasts we have the Buchanan Galleries about 10-12 minutes drive away as well as Silverburn , Braehead shopping centres within easy access via the M8 . SECC Hydro is about 6-7.5 miles depending on your route

    My tenement flat is a 10 minute walk to the SECC, STV, BBC and Film City, Cessnock underground is 3 minutes. Although this is 28 day min stay, there are 1 and 2 day stays available please check my calendar for availability.
    The room has a double bed with wardrobe. The window is east facing which is lovely for catching the morning sun.
    The area is an inner city neighbourhood, it largely consists of traditional red and sand stone tenement flats. There are some streets which are a welcome surprise, for instance Alexander 'Greek' Thomson's Walmer Crescent at Cessnock underground. The modern developments at Pacific Quay are a 5 min walk, and a choice of 3 bridges to take you over the river - the Millennium and Bell's Bridges are pedestrian only and the Clyde Arc (Squinty Bridge) is a traffic bridge - they all provide access to the west end. Cessnock is a brilliant neighbourhood, it has a diverse population, plenty of budget eateries, friendly and safe, and amazing architecture. Although the close / communal stairwell is tidy, it is in desperate need of a new coat of paint. The flat is warm and comfortable.

There is free residential car parking. My place is 3 km from the City Centre & 10mins by bus (the bus stop is right at my door!). It's also 5mins walk to a supermarket. You’ll love my place because of the comfy bed, living room, kitchen & private bathroom :)
    You will have a private room & bathroom to yourself with space in the built-in wardrobe and drawers to store your clothes and belongings as well as a table/workspace including lamp.
