Just a moments walk from the both the 'Cappuccino strip', and Fremantle's High Street, yet you will feel a world away in this spacious, leafy, open plan apartment. From the generous ground floor entry, a romantic spiral staircase will lead you to two beautifully decorated floors, with a street facing balcony.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

We will provide you with the makings of a light breakfast including, if you like, eggs from our own free-range chickens. If you have your own horse(s), a walk-in-walk-out can be arranged during your stay.
