The Treehouse: Off-grid Retreat

Shaded in a canopy of macrocarpa trees at the base of Mt Taranaki national park, The Treehouse is a grown-up childhood sanctuary. Built from recycled materials, a repurposed spiral staircase takes you up the multiple levels of The Treehouse to a secluded living space nestled between the trees. Kick back in the canopy, swoop on the swings or shoot down the slide. This self-contained treehouse is powered by renewable energy and is only a short drive to New Plymouth, local beaches and the mountain.

The cabin is suitable for couples or single person as 1 Queen size bed in separate bedroom with ensuite, kitchen, dining and lounge room. Ideal for those who just want to get away from it all. Private access to stand alone cabin separated from the main house. Close to Cafes and Restaurants, Foursquare, chemist, pub and other shops.

The Stay on Egmont

Welcome to The Stay on Egmont. Nestled in the quiet Egmont Village at the base of our Maunga, the road to the mountain is straight out the gate. The cottage is a quiet retreat 10 mins from New Plymouth city. Wake up to the call of Tui and the sound of a stream running outside. Only a 10 minute drive into New Plymouth and beaches, 5 mins to the Egmont National Park. The Village hosts a cafe, petrol station, large mountain bike park, NZ's largest Holden Museum with luge and mini golf.

The House of ART offers a place to enjoy Art, Rest and Travel away from home and continental breakfast supplied to start your day. Located in a newly built subdivision just 5 minutes drive from New Plymouth Airport, and 10 minutes to the city centre. An enjoyable spot to relax and enjoy views down to the sea. Located on the back section of our property, this private tiny home is only a 5min drive to scenic beaches, coastal walkway and restaurants and cafes of central New Plymouth.

Light and Airy in Oakura

A lovely, modern getaway that's lovely to come home to after a day at the beach or sightseeing around the region. Adrienne's place is comfy and cosy and has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. You can cook in or eat out in one of the local restaurants which are all walking distance. There is also a FourSquare about 200 metres away for your convenience. The northern end of the beach and Oakura River can be accessed a few hundred metres away.

Orchard Cottage

Orchard Cottage is a lovely relaxing place for a family/ couple or someone in Taranaki for work to stay. It has 2 living areas, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. There is a queen bed, double bed and double fold out in the the second living area. Plus a small laundry area. The cottage has a nice covered outdoor eating area and BBQ with a lovely rural outlook. It is located on our property with good parking and fully fenced.

Egmont Village Beauty

Enjoy a peaceful and rural setting in Egmont Village with stunning views of Mt Taranaki. We are two minutes from Lake Mangamahoe Walking track and Mountain Bike park, you can be in New Plymouth in ten minutes and be up North Egmont in 15 minutes. Our beautiful cottage is perfect for a couples or small families. Enjoy an amazing view of Mt Taranaki out of the bedroom windows. We provide towels, face cloths and all bed linen.

Relax, unwind and enjoy our tranquil and private country getaway. Our cottage is nestled at the base of beautiful Mount Taranaki located just over 5 kms from Stratford township and close to the Egmont National Park Boundary. Easy access to all the best mountain tracks, or with experience even brave a summit. Weather permitting you can enjoy some great mountain views from the property to the West and East of the country.
