MacLeod House Guest Cottage is a self-contained stone cottage nestled on the edge of the Krantzkloof Nature Reserve. The open plan accommodation is decorated in an Edwardian style but with all the modern conveniences you might require. The cottage overlooks the magnificent Krantzkloof gorge. There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. A 'must see' for nature lovers.

Container Cottage

Come and experience the cute little 20ft shipping container that has been turned into a cozy stay for a single or couples. The functional kitchen with all the basic necessities will be all you need to create a romantic dinner, or even just a coffee for yourself - both of which can be enjoyed with a tree-top view from the deck. The shower is surprisingly spacious and the gas geyser ensures hot water always. This space aims to delight and invoke a sense of serenity as you focus on the basics.

Our units are equipped with large TV's, large fridge and Freezer, Air fryer, Microwave,Washing Machine, Large work station and great Wifi.

The Barn was once a farm building which was recently converted into an open plan, double volume space that's perfect for both long & short term stays. Beacon Hill Barn is a 36 acre farm with horses and cattle. It is perched on the very top of the Alverstone hill. Panoramic views extend to the sea with a big open sky above you. Guests are welcome to range the farm. The location is such that you can enjoy a tranquil get away yet also have access (7 mins ) to Hillcrest restaurants and the festive shongweni farmers market on a Saturday morning. The suite is well appointed with a fire place for winter and aircon for hot summer nights

Jungle Oasis

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Based in central Hillcrest, the Tennis Court Cottage is a recently renovated, self catering garden cottage located on a well secured property within a lush, green garden. The space is a private and peaceful, equipped with all the amenities required by the business or leisure traveler. Self check in and out is quick and easy via a keypad at the main gate, a key box is located at the entrance to the unit. Due to its size the unit is ideally suited for short term stays.

Churchill Cottage

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. From the bedroom and patio the views are amazing all the way to the sea on clear days. The apartment is modern and comfortable, it has just had a complete refurb. It is close to the highway for easy access to Hillcrest Village , and most of Durban. There is a shared pool in season as well as a fire pit for the colder evenings. We also have an inverter that’s operates Wi-Fi, lights and some plugs in case of load shedding.

The Hidden Lookout (Yellow Room)

This modern, creative space is one of two hidden gems in the leafy suburb of Westville (also see “the Green Room” in the Hidden Lookout). Up high in the trees, our space is a tranquil, beautiful, simple space perfect for a break from the city, but close enough to everything to still have fun! If you are coming for business we have fast and dependable WiFi. We also have a GENERATOR for load shedding if necessary.

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Our cabin is situated directly on the spectacular Indian Ocean, in a safe and peaceful location and has everything you need to rest and relax. Seaside Heaven offers a modern well equipped kitchen, 1 x sea facing king bed, outdoor braai area and is a short walk to the heart of Umdloti ! The Cabin can only be accessed via walking stairs (100 to be exact).
