Self contained part of charming thatched cottage in this attractive South Oxfordshire village, between Didcot (2.5 miles) and Wallingford (3.5 miles). The accommodation has its own entrance, sitting room - with inglenook fireplace (only use electric fire provided) - and steep, winding stairs leading to the large bedroom with vaulted ceiling and superking bed. Guests will have sole use of the adjoining bathroom. Period features also include low beams, but rule out a shower. Not for children.

This newly built, spacious and stylish one bedroom cottage is set in the picture perfect village of Brightwell-cum-Sotwell, located in South Oxfordshire. Peaceful and private it is brilliantly located for tranquil walks, or exploring the history of nearby Wallingford or Oxford. Airy and spacious, the cottage is well equipped and modern. There are great local pubs in the local area that serve food most days (please check) but there is a very well equipped kitchen should you like to cook for yourselves.

Acklings Studio

The Studio is in the country side at the edge of the village in a rural environment. Ideal for 2-3 people and their pets. Cycling distance to Didcot, and parking on premises is possible. You might hear our roosters and hens, and may benefit from a fresh egg or two. Secluded entry and court yard, 1-2 rooms with double bed and bed sofa. Ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchenette, including a washer/dryer. Large pet flap into the court yard. Outside dining area and bike shed.

Modern studio with comfy Ikea bed, fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, microwave and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is free wifi and full Sky TV with Netflix. There is also full central heating. The studio is in a beautiful rural location well away from our historic house. So visitors may come and go as they please. There is ample parking directly in front of the studio. We are 10 minutes drive from Didcot Parkway station.
