There is an abundance of bird life for birding enthusiasts and a tranquil setting in which to relax whilst enjoying the sound of the Nkonka Falls directly below the property. The functional kitchen with all the basic necessities will be all you need to create a romantic dinner, or even just a coffee for yourself - both of which can be enjoyed with a tree-top view from the deck. The shower is surprisingly spacious and the gas geyser ensures hot water always. This space aims to delight and invoke a sense of serenity as you focus on the basics.

Durban International Airport is 30 mins drive away & Durban's beaches only 12km away. Private & tranquil with your own entrance and parking spaces. With inverter solar power backups load sheddings impact is in most cases largely eliminated!. Easy access to M13 and N3. Regrettably unsuitable for social events & parties.

Horizon Hideout

A really lovely one bedroom place to stay which has all you need for a holiday or if you are on business. The wifi and TV are there for your convenience with a dedicated work space. Westville is a very treed area and green all year round. At Horizon Hideout you are so close to nature and yet only 5 minutes to the shops, an 8 min drive to the Pavilion Shopping Centre and a 20 minute drive to the Durban beachfront. Ofcourse there are plenty of other fun places to explore as well!

Located in a quiet, access controlled cul de sac this upstairs maisonette has spectacular views from the outside deck. This is an upstairs unit above the main house, with 13 steps walk up access. The private entrance with allocated parking, gives you privacy and peace of mind. The ensuite bathroom has access to a very spacious and comfortable bedroom with a queen sized bed. There is a separate open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has a sleeper couch for the kids.

Up high in the trees, our space is a tranquil, beautiful, simple space perfect for a break from the city, but close enough to everything to still have fun! If you are coming for business we have fast and dependable WiFi. We also have a GENERATOR for load shedding if necessary.

The Cabin can only be accessed via walking stairs (100 to be exact).
