Single Room to let in Clean House

Single room available to rent in a cosy, friendly and clean house in Leyton, East London. Location The house is in a quiet, residential area ideally located for visiting all parts of London and beyond. It is 5 minutes walk to Leyton tube station which is on the Central line with easy, direct access to Central London. 2 minutes to Stratford, the Olympic Park & Westfield shopping Centre, 10 minutes to the City and 20 minutes to the West End. 2 minutes walk to local bus services including night buses on Leyton High Road. Good links to all London airports including Stansted, London City, Heathrow & Gatwick and all major London Train stations are easily accessible by tube. Also excellent road links serving all parts of the UK. Local Amenities The local area has a variety of good restaurants, friendly pubs, supermarkets and shopping facilities. There are good local sports facilities in the area, these include a swimming pool, tennis courts, gym, golf range, ice skating and horse riding centre. There is a local park 2 minutes walk away and Epping Forest is close by. Accommodation The private room which is situated upstairs at the back of the house is light, airy and nicely decorated. It is fully carpeted, the furniture is in good condition and consists of a single bed, wardrobe, drawers and dressing table. Fresh towels and Bed linen are provided and changed on a weekly basis or when required. All other facilities are communal and available for guests to use. (The maximum number of people staying in the house at any one time is four including myself.) These include: Bathroom - on the same floor as the private room; it is fully tiled, with hand basin, toilet, bath and shower. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor of the house. Kitchen – This is on the ground floor and has a hob, oven, grill, and microwave and there is a breakfast bar to sit at if required. There is a washer/dryer also available for use. All crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided for guests to use and there is ample cupboard and fridge space available. Living and Dining area – Also on the ground floor it is comfortably furnished with wooden flooring. There are 2 leather sofas, dining table and chairs, desk space, computer and wi fi access if you need it. There is a 46" HD TV, all Sky and cable channels available, TiVo box, DVD, blu-ray player and radio/CD player. There is also a small back garden and on-street parking is available on request. Other Info English breakfast, packed lunches and supper can be provided at a small extra charge. Continental Breakfast, tea, coffee and soft drinks are included in the price. There is also a twin bedded room available for rent in the same house so ideal for a family of 3 or 3 friends sharing who want to spend time in London in good quality accommodation at a reasonable rate. Central, Camden, Hampstead Dbl Room, Bath & Lounge

Bright double bedroom, own living room and own bathroom all on your own floor in our Victorian house in leafy West Hampstead. You will have a mini fridge, toaster, and tea & coffee making facilities in your living room. We also provide you with tea, coffee, cereal, bread & milk & therefore won’t need to share any spaces with us during this time however, we are always available to advise on places to visit, restaurant, bars etc. As always the space is incredibly clean and we take extra precautions to keep the space safe, strictly following the Airbnb COVID cleansing guidelines. The bedroom has floor to ceiling wardrobes, a chest of drawers, real wood flooring, decorative fireplace, mirror and wireless internet connection. While your own private bathroom is not en-suite it is just a couple of steps away. It is a recently refurbished modern bathroom with power shower and full sized bath. The living room is large bright with bay windows & two large sofas for relaxing after your day. We are amazingly located, 8 minute walk to the tube & a 10 minute journey to all the main central sites of London. If you are looking for Markets this is the place to stay. There is trendy Camden Lock for Rock and Roll and then typically English Hampstead for farmers markets and the beautiful Hampstead Heath both 10 minutes away. West Hampstead has the feel of a little village with quaint coffee shops, cake and tea shops, bistros, bars and local parks. Local grocery shops on the main high street. Only 10/15 minutes walk to Hampstead Heath! West Hampstead is located in Zone 2 (Jubilee Line) and only takes 10 mins on the underground to central London (e.g Oxford circus/Leicester Square) Abbey Road is located only 10 minutes away on the local bus! Camden Town - just a couple of stops away. Kings Cross St Pancras - 10 minutes on the Thameslink train. Regents Park with London Zoo - 10 minutes on the underground. Characterfull Grade II listed arts & crafts house

Grade 2 listed house built in 1876 by the famous architect Edward Prior; a major figure in the architectural arts and crafts movement. Many original features have been kept and restored including the fabulous oak panelled living room. Two of the bedrooms are available, each with a double bed. There's an oldy-world study and separate dining room and lovely outdoor space too. The rooms and hallways are full of curios. If you're after luxury, flair, style and panache for your stay, then this is it.

Lovely bright double garden room in Victorian home

Our lovely Victorian terraced house has an eat-in kitchen, family bathroom, downstairs toilet & two living rooms (one is reserved for guests' exclusive use after 7pm), plus garden with patio. The room is a large, garden-facing double with a very comfortable mattress. Guests share the communal spaces with myself, my husband and our three young sons (aged 18 months, 4 and 7). We try our best to keep the noise down but please be aware that this is a busy family home!
