Nestled in open countryside next to our vineyard on the outskirts of Bishop's Stortford, an ideal base to explore East Herts & North Essex or visit London & Cambridge. The Cowshed is a recently converted barn sleeping 5, complete with fully equipped kitchen, dining area and comfy seating around a woodburner. Egyptian cotton linen and black out blinds in all bedrooms. Outdoors enjoy the wood burning hot tub, feed the chickens, take a stroll round our lake or discover the zip wire in the wood!

Stansted Airport - Beautiful Annexe with Parking

The Annexe is separate from our house with its own entrance. Basic items are provided i.e. Milk, Tea & Coffee etc. Free parking during your stay. Airport transfers available. We are in a rural location so a car may be needed. If you would like to book the night before your wedding, please contact me to confirm the details. Created to offer a luxurious stay, TheCabin is equipped with a Kingsize bed and luxury bathroom. In the kitchen there is a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, mini air fryer oven, fridge, induction hob, pots and pans. For breakfast you have eggs, fresh milk, bread, and a variety of cereals, jams and spreads. With beautiful armchairs and a bistro table to eat, work or just sit back to enjoy the smart TV with Netflix, BBC iPlayer, etc. Outside there is a small private garden too.

The Old Stables are in a courtyard, set back from Windhill, right in the heart of Bishops Stortford, close to restaurants, pubs, cafés and shops. Conversion of a historic coach-house and stables into a self-contained cottage which sleeps 4 or even 5/6 by arrangement. There is a high-ceilinged entrance hall with wood burner. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped. There are two double beds in the same room (one on a mezzanine floor above the other) and a double sofa bed in the dining area.

Located in the rural village of Stocking Pelham in Herts, the surrounding area is perfect for country walks or cycling. Nearby pubs offer great beer and fabulous dining. A short drive away you have various attractions including Henry Moore, Audley End, and the lovely old market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge and Newmarket are not too far either.
