The Pump Maker’s House Marshallton Historic Beauty

Situated in the historic village of Marshallton, this home is furnished in country style with lovely antiques and vintage items. The first half of the house was built in 1790 with an addition added in 1830. This house was the childhood home of George McFarland, pump maker. He was the town plumber and made wooden pumps in a shop in the rear. We have just completed an entire rehabilitation with brand new plumbing, electric, hvac, as well as brand new bathrooms and kitchen.

Built in 1753, this 1000 square feet, newly restored limestone cottage was the original settlement home on the 135-acre homestead. Boasting a French country esthetic, this little darling has the most captivating views of rolling hills, a brook, and lush green farmland.

The Millhaus

This is the original "tiny house." Built in 1766, the Millhaus sits on a 32-acre historic site with the Knauer Mill, Horseshoe Trail, and French Creek. We require government-issued photo ID, sign agreement and a $500 security deposit may be charged at the host's discretion.

Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe.
