Kick back and relax in this modern, calm space. The space opens out to a beautiful rural outlook, banana trees and the Hikurangi Mountain. A short 5 minute drive to the iconic Kamo Village or 15 minutes to the Whangarei Town Basin. Equipped with a new kitchenette (no oven or hobb), a pod coffee machine and basic continental breakfast supplies. Parking at the door and a lockbox for ease. This studio is attached to our home, although it's completely separate and you'll have complete privacy.

Drive into town or other close by attractions then come back to relax away from the busy city life. We have all afternoon sun and amazing sunsets to watch and enjoy with a glass of wine on the deck. We are two minutes walk away from one of the beautiful Parahaki walks which takes you to the lookout at the top.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Modern spacious self contained studio with its own private entrance. 5 minutes from the Town Basin; a perfect base for exploring Whangarei. Upstairs bedroom with queen & single beds. A 15-20min walk along the Hatea Loop gets you to the Town Basin, home to newly opened Hündertwasser Museum, Wairau Māori Art Gallery, waterfront dining, and centre of town shopping. Best for 1-2 guests, but can snugly accommodate up to 4. Onsite carpark next to the self check-in studio apartment, fully detached & separate from the main house dwelling.

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by.
