The school house cabin is located next to the Plum Creek Wildlife Management Area and 22 miles from the Niobrara River and 13 miles from Ainsworth, NE.

Our cozy little space has all that you will need for time away and we aim to make you to feel right at home. It is located close to the Bait shop and all of the restaurants, gas stations, Scotty’s Ranchland Foods, and more. There is plenty of room on the property for parking your RV, trailer, or boat as well. We can’t wait to host you for you stay!

The Merritt Dam Road Hill House sits high up on the hill overlooking Merritt Reservoir and the Snake River. This gorgeous cabin has vaulted ceilings, a wide open design, 2 bedrooms on the main floor, a loft with 3 beds, a cozy fire place, and 2 decks to enjoy the most scenic view of the sand hills.
