Our modern, well-equipped home sits right by the sea with breathtaking mountain views, surrounded by pristine Arctic nature. Spot reindeer, otters, moose, or even whales, and watch the Northern Lights from the porch. Steps away, enjoy a panoramic sauna by the water. A traditional BBQ hut is available as an optional rental. This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Authentic and Romantic Lodge close to nature

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

Lovely cottage in Svensby, Lyngen. Beautiful location 10 m from the sea, in the middle of the Lyngen Alps. Only 90 minutes drive from Tromsø, including a short ferry trip. Northern lights wintertimes, midnight sun summertimes. Spectacular hiking tours all year. Welcome to a unique and family-friendly experience. Just 25 min. from Tromso with its own urban sensation. You can experience the Northern Lights from the terrace, or the magical white-tailed eagle or porpoises passing by. Experience Arctic Reindeer 50 m. away from the house. Relax by the fire. Go for a hike on one of the many trails or mountains close by (Ullstinden 1040 m.a.s.l). Ski tracks are right outside the door. Groceries and an outdoor pool just - 4km away. Ski resort - 13km.

Du bor 5 min fra flyplassen, og likevel i naturen. Noen meter fra havet og en elv som renner ut i havet her. Rundt husene kan du oppdage mangel ulike dyr. Rein kommer ofte forbi. Elg kan komme en raskt tur innom. Ellers springer det oter og røyskatt rundt husene. I havet svømmer sel og en sjelden gang delfiner. Et ypperlig sted for å observere Nordlys - og er det vindstille speiler det seg i havet også. Tromsø sentrum- buss, ca 15 min. Sauna kan leies når du bor her- avtales senere .

Cathedral Lodge

This house looks like a little cathedral, and lies only a five minutes walk from the centre of Tromsø. Large windows in the front gives a magnificent view of the city, the sea and the Mountains. The house was finished in 2019. We have choosen exclusive materials and design furniture. You’ll see that it’s made by heart. Helga, the host, lives in the house next door, and is readily available. This is the perfect place to stay in Tromsø. Welcome!

Log cabin in the wilderness in the Lyngen Alps.

Hytte på ca 70 m2, 3 km fra bilvei midt i Lyngsalpenes indrefilet, innenfor grensene til naturvern området. Rett opp til jægervasstidane, trolltind og stortind. Plass til 2 par, evt 4 personer. Ikke innlagt vann eller strøm men gasskomfyr og peis, gass og/eller parafin for oppvarming. Mobil dusj :-). På sommeren kan zodiac gummibåt lånes, ellers er det ca 30 min skitur inn til hytta fra gratis parkeringsplass. Pulk kan lånes.

Cozy cabbin by the sea, under the Norten Lights

Cabbin only 26 km from Tromsø Airport, 20 km from City senter , a perfect location for watching the mythical northern lights! The Polar night lasts from about 27 November to 21 January. The sun stays below the horizon for the entire period. The midnight sun is visible from about 20 May to 22 July. Northern lights you can spot during the period from the beginning of September to the middle of April.
