Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Unique luxury cottage for two, an ancient dovecote with a fabulous swimming pool. Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious, in gorgeous peaceful countryside, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Upstairs there is a very comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. Manor Farm is in an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, v peaceful and not far to Stonehenge, Stourhead, Longleat, Bath and Salisbury. Jurassic coast an hour’s drive. Conveniently situated not far from A303 and A350. It is gloriously unspoilt and peaceful with wonderful walks from the doorstep. Exclusive use of a part of a 16th Century Manor Farmhouse. Compact sitting room/kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge, combi microwave/oven and hob. Fast wifi - some mobile phone providers are weak.

The Loft @Lime Cottage: private stylish loft space

A cosy and private well-equipped loft space in a rural setting in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is an ideal country base. Historic sites, excellent walking routes and many country pubs are easily accessible. This warm, comfortable and stylishly decorated studio guest suite sits above a detached garage and has a private entrance. The house is in a tranquil 4 acre plot with lovely views from your personal raised sundeck. All within walking distance from Tisbury village and train station.

Beautiful country barn/peaceful location

Our double height wood and stone barn directly opposite our house is found at the end of a long private drive in lovely Dorset countryside. A very comfortable 5ft bed, woodburning stove and pretty views, a perfect relaxing and cosy retreat. Easy access to lots of interesting places. Guests can play tennis and croquet. The Barn sleeps two adults. Ample parking directly next to Barn. Please note the Barn unsuitable for children and infants. NB There are no shops or pubs within walking distance.

Little Coombe

Little Coombe welcomes all couples, lone travellers and fellow pooches. Little Coombe is a totally self-contained cottage attached to the main cottage, where the owner lives. It is a tranquil stone cottage sitting by the brook in a small hamlet near Shaftesbury. The cottage was formerly two thatched farm cottages and where our family has lived for nearly 100 years! We live next door in the main cottage, but guests will have their own entrance and garden space and their privacy is guaranteed.

Ansty, Tisbury - Spacious Annex

The annex has 2 double bedrooms ensuite, BUT there is no kitchen. Each bedroom needs to be booked separately. Booking for 2 guests will ONLY have the use of ONE double bedroom. If you wish to have the use of BOTH bedrooms, you need to select 3 or 4 guests. Our bright and sunny annex has 2 spacious double bedrooms with 2 superking size beds that can also be split into 4 single beds if requested. Each bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, one with a bath and shower, the other with a shower.

Tranquil South Wiltshire Cottage with Views.

Church Path Cottage is a spacious two bedroomed cottage in the grounds of The Old Vicarage. It has its own access into the church car park and a path that provides a two minute walk to the centre of the village and the award winning country pub 'The Horseshoe'. Church Path Cottage is ideal for those seeking peace and tranquility or as a base to explore South Wiltshire and Dorset. The New Forest, Studland Beach, Stonehenge & the Cities of Salisbury and Bath are all within an hour's drive.

The Barn - peaceful country setting.

A converted barn at Cann Common next to the main house with its own garden, patio and parking area. Located on a no-through road with only local residents traffic, giving a peaceful setting with views of the surrounding hills. Shaftesbury just over a mile with its historic Gold Hill and a good choice of shops and places to eat. It is a good base for exploring the area, offering historic houses, interesting gardens, walks, the Jurassic Coast, Stonehenge, Salisbury and Bath and much more.
