Situated just beyond the edge of town around a bend that makes it feel very private & surrounded by nature, it is a short walk/bike ride to the downtown area w/restaurants & shopping. Sip your morning coffee overlooking the Hudson River & at the end of your day, unwind under the starry Adirondack skies around the campfire after enjoying a beautiful view of the sunset.

Winter: Park at ski shop. Ski in/out cabin is ON the trail system. Private, cozy, fully equipped cabin at Garnet Hill in the ADK forest. Gas fireplace, grill and screened in porch. Steps from hiking trailheads. Access (not lakefront) to protected 13th Lake with sandy beach. Two one-seat kayaks come with the rental. Mountain biking (cabin is on the trails), white water rafting, and tubing nearby. Please note: this is a NOT a hotel/condo or business Airbnb. it has been in our family for 30 years!

The "Mellow Moose" cabin is a quiet and peaceful retreat in the woods. Spend the day exploring the region or simply relax in nature. Afternoons are great for reading a book as the sun shines through the large living room windows. Relax on the screened in front porch for a quiet evening and a drink. Or enjoy a campfire and watch the sunset through the trees. Use this as your home base for a ski trip or take a trip to Schroon lake, Brant lake or Lake George. (Roughly 30mins)

3-Acre Cabin: Ski Gore Mt., Sauna, Pool Table

Enjoy a wooded Adirondack setting with all the amenities you need including a fully-stocked kitchen, rec room with pool table and sauna room. You'll have access to a scenic private beach. Gore Mountain is about 15 minutes away. Hiking trailheads are minutes away. The rustic Garnet Hill Lodge & Restaurant is up the road to enjoy lunch, dinner or their cocktail lounge. You can take a 12 minute ride to historic North Creek for restaurants, shopping and antiquing.

The Hideaway at Gore, 5 minutes door to Gore! Conveniently located in North Creek, The Hideaway is the perfect spot to start your Adirondack Adventure. Ideal for solo travelers, couples, or small families/groups. We are a quick 5 minute drive to the base of Gore Mountain Ski Area, a few minutes to downtown North Creek shops, restaurants, walkable/bikeable to hiking, biking, and skiing at the Ski Bowl and 3-5 minutes to most local rafting companies.

This is the place for those wanting to get away from it all without sacrificing comfort and style. Privately located between pristine Schroon Lake and Keene Valley and within an hour drive to many high peaks and several world class ski resorts including Whiteface, Gore, and West Mountain.

Sweet just built cabin with lovely mountain views offers great privacy. Elsewhere on our family compound, we offer an optional all-natural Japanese hot tub experience as well as a cedar Sauna experience. Walking trails throughout. Lovely architectural details, beautiful furnishings and wonderful location. In summer, we offer wood fired pizza (most but not all nights). Close to Gore and Garnet Hill for skiing.
