Our cozy guest cottage has easy beachfront/kayak/canoe access, and is located very close (within walking distance at low tide) to the public boat launch for larger boats. Great location to explore Deer Isle, Acadia (approx 1hr), Castine (45m), and the Bangor (1hr) area. Brave children and adults even swim from the beach but comfortable swimming ponds/lakes are 10m in several directions. The hot-tub is open year-round! Additional guests can be considered prior to booking.

Camden and Rockland are about 25 minutes away, and Belfast is about 30 minutes.

It features a private therapeutic hot tub on the deck, a fire pit, and fast wifi. The Appleton Retreat encompasses 120 acres hosting six unique retreats. To the south is the Pettengill Stream, a resource protected area. To the north is the Nature Conservancy's 1300 acre reserve.

**JUNE PRICE DROP** We have an adorable rustic & comfy tiny house, with one queen bed. There is a fridge, tea kettle, toaster oven and stovetop. There is a daybed/couch on the porch. There is a brand new Sun Mar composting toilet in the shower house. NO INDOOR PLUMBING but we supply ample drinking/cooking/washing water and there is a sink that drains.
