Stedet ligger midt i Lofoten med 1 times bilkjøring til Å i vest og Svolvær i øst. Handelssted Leknes og Leknes flyplass er ca. 15 min. unna. There are great hiking trails just outside, and you can catch fish from the dock. It is possible to pay and go out to sea with a big boat, or buy fishingcards for the waters abowe.
