Located in the foothills of the Olympics, Shippen's Cabin offers the comforts of home in a wilderness retreat. The cabin is an ideal location to base your hiking adventure, or simply come to enjoy some time away from the city while exploring the area's many attractions. Relax after a long day on the trail with a hot sauna or a meal on the deck and enjoy the wilderness setting, often visited by local wildlife. High speed WiFi is available for those that need to stay connected during their stay.

Our most recent visitors tell us that we are a stand alone destination. A respite to relax and reboot . Our one bedroom cabin with a fully equipped kitchen offers a chance to enjoy a private and uninterrupted access to the Olympic rain forest, while affording you easy walking or biking to the small village of Sequim.

An authentic Pan Abode log home, the “Pray for Salmon Cabin” is located on the Olympic Peninsula along the Dungeness River with acres of natural forest to explore and find solitude within. And if you’re a fan of “Virgin River”, you’ll feel like you’ve arrived at Mel’s cabin. This cabin has been thoughtfully renovated with custom details throughout and is fully equipped with everything needed. Equally great for a romantic escape or your gaggle of kids and pets. Beautiful hikes and scenery nearby, yet only 15 minutes from downtown Sequim.

Ghost Salmon Cabin in a Cedar Tree Grove

Ghost Salmon Cabin is a custom built studio cabin. It is a unique design, with wood floors, a vaulted wood ceiling and a large wrap around deck. The location is in the Sandy Hook neighborhood. It is not in any town but near several. Kiana Lodge is a 3 minute walk from the cabin. Two ferry terminals (Kingston/Edmonds and Bainbridge/Seattle routes) are 20 minutes away. It is centrally located near Poulsbo, Suquamish, Kingston and Bainbridge Island.
